53 y/o male, started trt 12 weeks ago, 140mg's sub-q a week, eod injections. My initial labs were total test 198, and free test 39.6 . I just got my 12 week results and total test is 857, and free test is 213.5 . I haven't talked with my Dr. yet, but was wondering why free test is so high, when my total is well within the "normal" range? I haven't got my Estradiol results back yet. I feel great, and my libido is threw the roof. I have had insomnia, but it seems to be getting better. Any info or advice is welcomed. Thanks.

Free test is what matters. Your body is doing well at utilizing it. At that mg per week you will crash your e2 with an AI. You shouldn't need it based on your total test. Estrogen should increase as a percentage of total test. Your Estrogen shouldn't be high at that level and if you feel good and libido is great then dont mess with it.

Sub Q ia a really bad idea. I hope you're not listening to Jay Campbell or John Crisler or anyone equally ill informed.

I've done a lot of research on subQ lately and for low dose TRT protocols it isn't bad. I'm on 100mg a week and I use test E 250. So I could split mine in two doses and inject subQ with slin pin. Would only be .2cc per injection.

You wouldn't want to run a cycle subQ though

as far as your results those are pretty good numbers. When my total test gets around 800 my E starts creeping though so I'd be interested to see your E numbers.

I try to stay as high as I can in range without needing AI.
