Aas build bone density?

I google 'bone density and steroids' and all that comes up is osteoporosis related saying that it will cause fractures.

Surely AAS use would increase bone density? There are raw lifters squatting 4x their bodyweight without their bones turning to dust

While this can have an effect, natural lifters see large bone density increases as well due to the constant stresses applied, and the body's response to that stimulus (Wolff's Law).

And even AAS users over time. Load is load regardless of use or a lack of a it. Obvs not NON-STOP use.

this is true. weightlifters who have been going at it for years have sensational bones. what we lack though is our soft tissues and disc health is years ahead of where we should be for our age. so there are the good and there are the bad.

It's not as much the aas as it is the body adapting to loads and stresses over time. Bones, connective tissues, etc all adapt to the increased load
