I am just wondering if you guys think the level for test is low or normal?

I get different answers from different sources .. Mayo Clinic website says normal.
But, sites that break down test levels by age group say 307 is average/normal for an 80 year old man.

Just wanted to know what y'all think.

Thank you

It's fairly low. But what's low for you might be normal or workable for someone else. Most go on symptoms or changes in quality of life, and cross reference symptoms with test scores. If you've had yours tested, presumably it's because you'be experienced symptoms of low test. So, that's probably your answer.

it is in range bro technically, you would have to find a liberal doctor if you wanted a script for TRT, some would turn you down.

sadly your levels are higher than a lot of 25 year olds these days. I blame environmental factors, lifestyle, video/computer games, laziness, steroid abuse, etc. for why you have younger guys with test levels in the gutter.

I checked a Men's Hormonal Website, and it gives Total Test for Men between the ages of 45 to 54.
It's 606 Ng/dl Total Test ~ 90 Pg/Ml Free Test ~ SHBG 5 Ug/Ml ~ Estradiol 38.7 Pg/ml

So I would say if you aren't close to these #'s, and you are having Side Effects like Lower Libido/Lethargy, that you are a Candidate for TRT.
Now finding a Doctor or Endo who will agree with this, is another matter.
If you aren't feeling well, I would pursue this until you find a Doctor who agrees.............................. JP

You are still technically normal but very close to low. I agree with talking to the doctor about it. See what his/her opinion is on the matter. Are you having any side effects of low T?

I'm 46 and tested at 340 last year. My primary care and urologist wouldn't put me on trt because insurance starts paying at a reading 250 or below. I was in a rural area and no liberal Drs for a few hundred miles. I weighed the pluses and minuses and put myself on trt.

I use sustanon 250 from roid mass and dose .25ml every 10 days. That's 62.5ml per shot. One bottle lasts 40 shots. That's $40-$50 per bottle from roid mass last time I checked.

My symptoms were that working out made me feeling horrible. Took 10-14 days for my muscles to stop being sore after working out. Now it's about 4 days and no more soreness. Another sign, at least to me, was that I couldn't gain any muscle weight no matter how hard I tried. Working out was actually making me sick instead of making me better.

I don't have to be a body builder to self medicate. It's cheap as fuck and easy.

Everyone else here can help you understand how to use roid for bodybuilding.

Did I mention roid mass sells sustanon 250?

Just checking 😈

Your levels are technically normal but they are on the very low side of the normal range. What you said is 100% true - you have the levels that are normal for an 80 year old man, not a healthy 51 year old male.

Check out this video I made on TRT -> https://www.evolutionary.org/forums...rone-replacement-therapy-(trt-hrt)-48402.html

If you are done having kids, it's something you might want to consider. With testosterone levels in the higher range of the normal range, you will have much more energy, better libido, better recovery from your workouts etc.

If you don't want to go the TRT route, you could try using a good natural testosterone booster like HCGenerate ES from n2bm.com

Also keep in mind that its not only the 'test level' that matters. Its the whole panel of hormones and the ratio between them.

As for the overall level of test - its kinda low. I would consider asking your doctor for additional check up and see what he says. Of course if you are feeling alright, there is no need for injections and drug usage. But if you feel the symptoms of low test - go for TRT.

If you want to go on TRT I would suggest looking up a Mens clinic that specializes in it. Family practice docs do not like to put you on it. I got put on it and had test levels of 500.
