I'm 32 and I've been on TRT for 3 years and was thinking about doing a cycle of 500 mg of cyp for 10-12 weeks with anastrozole .25 mg EOD. Does this sound good. I'm pretty sure I don't need pct, but I wanna make sure I'm not missing anything. I heard I may not need an AI with 500mg of test. I know bloods are the only way to know for sure.
you should be using an ai from the start... you need to do pre, mid and post cycle bloodwork... you dont ever go on how " you feel " unless you want to ensure you make mistakes and have problems... of course you dont need a pct if you are on trt

No PCT on TRT.
What’s your TRT dose? I find simply triple my TRT dose to be great for a blast well on TRT so instead of 100mg around 300mg or a little more.
If you’re blasting a large dose then run AI from the day you up the dose.

Yeah you most likely will NOT need an AI when you drop back to your TRT dose.. (as long as that TRT dose is along the lines of 200 mg per week or LESS)
An AI will be needed at anything past 200 mg per week most likely or your E2 numbers will start to climb and you don't want that....
And just listen to Steve on the bloodwork and get it done with privatemdlabs which he can help you with. Literally takes less than an hour, no doctor required, and it's like 60 bucks.....

Ahhhh like andro-gel???? Yeah my buddy does the same for his TRT. Yeah that stuff isn't nearly as effective as anything injectable... I'd LOVE to see your bloodwork on Andro Gel... There has been a few threads on the use of that..... How often do you use it and since you have been on TRT what does your bloodwork look like thru your doctor????

950 is damn near cycling..... How do you feel at 950???? I can imagine the difference betwen 129 and 950 must feel like night and day.....
I can see why your doctor may have lowered the dosage if you are at 950.... Injectables and the "rule of 5" will have you around 5 times whatever your weekly dosage is.... As a general rule of thumb. So if you are considering 500 mg a week of an injectable testosterone your rough test number can be as high as 2500.

Do you notice any water retention on your TRT dose?

None at all
200 is a pretty generous TRT dosage. Most guys will need a low dose AI at that dosage
