I'm trying get more mass, I'm at 150lbs. I'm 31, working out now going on a year. I was at 138lbs last year. I think that a test c @ 500 for 14 weeks is something that I'm interested in. Any good advice would be appreciated

I agree with gearhead.

I would hold off on starting a cycle. You can still make ALOT of progress naturally. I know it's not the advice you want to hear, but be patient. The longer you wait to start your first cycle, the more you will get out of it.

If you want to supplement your diet and training with anything, look into SARMS. Particularly the SARMS triple stack. http://www.evolutionary.org/the-SARMS-triple-stack-protocol

After the triple stack, run a mini PCT. 4 weeks of the following:
clomid at 25mg/day
nolvadex at 20mg/day
HCGenerate ES at 5 capsules/day
n2guard at 3 capsules/day

SARMS are minimally suppressive, there is no risk of aromatization (therefore no estrogen related side effects) and legal to use. You can get everything you need off sarms1.com, n2bm.com and ag-guys.com

My two cents... One year training is insufficient to consider AAS. I would like to know more... height, etc plus your personal goals but like Muskate, it is too soon. IMHO I would want to see you train consistently with a simple but focused routine for say another couple of years... get the diet right, learn your body signals for nutrients, rest, etc. AAS will still be waiting for you on the other side when you are ready. Some of us respond better to them than others. Some struggle with the hormonal shift. Some do great on Test and others don't. Takes a mature mind and body to manage it.

It is a bit early for you to use AAS. You need to build a stronger base in order to get the maximum benefits out of the steroid. I mean, you could as well use the steroids, but it is more reasonable to use them when you hit a plateau, and your growth is halted. Until then, on the initial stages it is much easier to make the gains, and you would be using steroids for something you could achieve on your own.

A good alternative would be SARMs - they will give very noticeable results, they are much safer, and more convenient to take (orally). What's most important, they will get you conditioned for a good AAS cycle. Besides, in bodybuilding it is best to be gradual, and not try to get all the gains at once. Start with the milder compounds, and slowly grow into the stronger ones.

these guys are right. I mean I spent 13 years training naturally before touching. you are progressing at a good clip .. 12 pounds in 1 year of lean muscle is a lot, you can easily put on 10 more in the next year at this clip

I agree 100% with all the previous posters.
1-Year is nothing when it comes to Training.

I was Training 11 years (8-seriously) before my 1st Cycle................................... JP
P.S.
This is a Marathon ~ not a Sprint ~ so be Patient and Train Hard and Eat well ~ Gains will come.

I'll definitely wait, I know I still have slot to learn and grow naturally. Just out of curiosity what would happen if someone was to begin to cycle to soon?

Considering your 31, nothing. It's definitely better to build a solid base first but most like myself say screw it. I started at 18 or 19

^^^ in terms of his age I agree.. his HPTA is matured.

but in terms of his soft tissues starting too soon can lead to a lot of nagging injuries.. I've heard of enough stories of guys who have hopped on steroids and blown out shoulders within 2 weeks doing simple pull downs.. that should never happen and won't happen if you are conditioned properly and using proper form. your body just isn't conditioned yet to jump head first

There is nothing to add to the above. Think about how far you've come. ...12 lbs is alot of weight. I think you could potentially gain the same or even more with an on point diet over the next year.

There are a lot of drawbacks, the most important is not really maxing your natural potential so your potential while on gear will be diminished

Im 5'8" and now up to 153, most I've ever weighed in at. I've been training since high school but never consistently more than a year until now its just over a year. I really appreciate everyone's advice. I think I got a pretty good base and its only going to get better
