bcaa calories

Well, that depends on the particular product you are talking about. Some BCAA's have additives in them and artificial flavorings that will definitely increase the amount of calories, whilst other products, such as GEAR by n2bm, will have only pure BCAA's without artificial flavorings. Therefore, you have to check out the labels on the specific products you are going to buy.

BCAAs are basically protein. BCAA are the free form amino acids Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine. Proteins are long strings of free form amino acids strung together by polypeptide chains. The FDA does not require supplement companies to list the calorie content in BCAAs but they have 4 calories per gram just like protein.

As Lev mentioned, if you are using a BCAA product with no additives, the calories in them will be pretty much negligible but they still count!

BCAAs themselves have calories indeed, however also depends whether your product has unnecessary extra added ones

Alot of BCA'S I've bought tend to have extra info on their sites , check them out and worst case scenario you can give them a message to get specific info about your product

BCAA are protein which is 4 calories per gram. Keep that in mind and get a pure BCAA product. You don't want the ones with all the sugar and crap in them. That is why I use GEAR...pure BCAA in a capsule.
