Im just trying to lose weight at the moment then add strength training when i get to a good weight. Should I take BCAA's b4 a cardio and a protein shake after?

My question is why would you? What are you looking to benefit from that?
If you have a lot of spare money then go for it but taking BCAA's is not gonna make any bit of difference.
 
What is the thought on EAA? BCAAs only include 3 of the 9 EAAs required to build muscle - per my understanding anyway...

sure is what the supplement companies want you to do.. hell they even sell DURING WORKOUT supps now

if you want to lose weight you need to change your diet lifestyle.. contact me for a consult and I will show you how to do it. it isn't going to be from taking stuff or working out
 
BCAA and protein shakes have calories. I'm not saying don't take these things but don't think they're free either.

If you are trying to loose weight, calories matter. You would be better off spending your calories on more satiating things (whole foods)
 
If you are trying to lose weight you will have to accept the fact that strength will go down. It doesn't make sense to be slamming protein shakes and BCAA when you are trying to drop weight.
