Question for people with experience! So I don't have the greatest genetic I gain muscle and fat easy but the fat loves to stay with me. I've cut down for a contest and looked really well.
I bulked back up to gain muscle but I got up to about 15% bf. Should I keep bulking up getting more muscle and fat or try to cut down again?
My only concern is getting to high of a body fat and taking 5 or 6 months having cutting down! I just want to know what everyone's advice is.

Well, since you said that fat is your major enemy and that you are predisposed to being a bit on the fatter side, I would rather recommend you to cut first, because it is easier to gain mass than lose fat, and while you have little of it cutting would be an easier thing to do.

i think you look lean in that pic.

if anything i think you could bulk up your chest and shoulders more. i would be hitting the compound lifts hard and just focus on growing mass, let everything else fall into place as you go along but yeah you look great man

You look like you have a really good lean build right now. I see no issue with adding some mass. You will just have to be quick to adjust macros/calories should you start to gain fat.

I am very similar in that I can add mass but also fat very quickly.

I never like my male athletes to get above 10% - even in the offseason

The body grows best in a lean state. Also, the higher your body fat percentage, the worse your insulin resistance and the more testosterone you will naturally aromatize into estrogen.

If you got up to 15% body fat, it's time to do a mini cut before doing another bulk.

I don't think that picture is current. I think that photo is from shortly after his competition. He looks bout 10% in that photo.
