what's up guys, i just wanted to know if it's normal to get that burning stinging sensation after injecting , it has been happening to me with deca, i'm injecting on my buttock.

Here are some causes of injection pain

-the shorter the ester
-the concentration of the gear.
-the solvents used.
-injecting too quickly
-virgin muscle.

The only advice I can think of of the top of my head to help with your discomfort is try injecting slower.

Make sure your letting the prep alcohol dry before pining. If your stil wet with it, it will burn like getting alcohol in a cut. Are you using long enough pins? If you don't get it deep enough in the muscle it will cause PIP.

Double Check your Location on the Buttock.
Injecting Too close to a Nerve will cause Burning and Stinging...................................... JP

I've had this happen before.. and its not good.

it shouldn't be happening every time or else you are doing something wrong

It sounds to me like you aren't letting the injection site dry before injecting and some of the alcohol you applied to the injection site is getting into the injection site after you injection. In that case, it isn't overly serious at all.

As long as a rash doesn't develop or don't develop a fever, it is just some PIP and nothing to worry about. If a rash develops on your glute or you develop a fever, go to the hospital immediately because you have an infection.

i had that problem a while ago and it was becaue i was using poor quality gear and i didn't even know, what brand are you using?. Also, are you massaging the area where your are injecting? if it doesn't work i would suggest you to have it injected it on delts.

There are so many variables here that could be affecting this. I would suggest trying another location for pinning to see if you get the same result.

It happens if I go fast. So its absolutely normal in my opinion.

There can be many reasons for that, but it seems that until now you did not get an infection, so the problem is not major. Perhaps it is the alcohol that did not get completely dry before injecting, or may be you are injecting too fast, or in the wrong location....Try changing these things one by one, and see if there are improvements. I would not be all that worried, as you don't seem to have an infection. However, it is best to deal with this issue.

That feeling sucks yo. Especially when it makes the site feel "numb" or "dead" so to speak.. Definitely inject slower, if you can get assistance when injecting. I haven't needed to inject myself for an extensive period of time now, and rarely get that feeling.. Only odd occasion in the delt when using a high volume of liquid or the person assisting injects too quick.
