Canadian duties cost?

Is it true that canadian customs has started charging us duty fees to import supplements? If I want to buy some supplements in bulk and have them shipped in what kind of duty fees would I be looking at let’s say for $1000 worth of supplements and how long does it sit in customs?

you gotta remember we are talking canada here. they have a protectionist trade policy, they gotta protect supplement companies at home and protect their own jobs. we are talking a country that depends on exporting ice and moose burgers to survive
