clomid and vision issues

I started getting blurred vision when I started taking clomid in my pct, is that a normal side of clomid or it could be that's affecting my pituitary gland since the enlargement of the gland affects the optic chiasm, some people talk about clomid affecting the p. gland, I hope this doesn't cause any major issues, thank you.

Whats your dose?

Most guys go way overkill with clomid. 25mg per day is ample; if that doesnt get you going then 50mg wont either.

For most users, dosing clomid at 50mg or less avoids the vision sides.

Any sort of side effects with clomid are extremely rare, and they only take place when very high dosages are taken. The most common side effects are mood related and depression. However, I have never heard of clomid affecting one's vision. Besides, the fact that it affects the pituitary gland does not mean that it will actually enlarge, and start occluding your optic chiasm, so I don't think that this is the reason. You might as well check it out with an oculist, just to be sure.

and i agree with the guys above. clomid is ran too high. forum parroters have taken clomid dosages to absurd levels, i've seen some recommendations of 300mg a day out there, and people wonder why they get nasty sides

i'm for a less is better approach. also if you understand that clomid has a very long half life vs. other drugs, you would see that it doesnt' have to be dosed so high

I agree with Nac.

Clomid Side Effects are Dose Dependent for the most part.

Although, some people can't Tolerate even Low Doses.

And get Side Effects like Lethargy/Depression/Loss of Libido..................................... JP

Chlomid does effect vision and does cause bluriness. I have experienced this first hand whilst using chlomid during my PCT. I already do have poor vission and i am sure it only makes effects eye sight if you already have poor vision in general.
This could be due to the fact that if your vision was already good, you might not feel the slight blurriness compared to already having bad vision and it getting worse.
But yes it does have an effect on your eyesight and you become really sensitive to lights, well i did, espesually whislt driving on the road at night.

I have never experienced the side effect personally but I have had clients experience that side effect before. It's a well documented side effect of clomid.

The good news is that your clomid is certainly legitimate. The bad news is that you are susceptible to the side effect.

The problem usually goes away in a few days. If the problem doesn't go away, switch to nolvadex.

12.5mg of clomid = 10mg of nolvadex

While I have never experienced this side effect, I have read about this plenty of times before. I would halve your dose and see how that works for you. If you still have issues then stop running it. If you still need a SERM try nolva instead.
