Clomid for TRT

Has anyone ever herd of clomid alone, 25mg ED for TRT? I guess that wouldn't fall under the definition of TRT exactly. Went to a new endo to try and get my shit figured out before i jump into a cycle. Low t, hypogonadism, said everything else looked fine. Put me on clomid for a month to see what happens. I havent been able to find any good information on this.

Any ideas?
 
Clomid is something you do for a short run and get off the shit right away, you don't wan to take it long term really.
 
Right about a month. Which is what he has me on. then re-check bloods so see if it got things going. Or at least that is what the Endo is hoping will happen. It just seems strange as it has a specific use in PCT and a totally different clinical use.
 
I was put on clomid for several months a few years ago to bring my natural test up to over 300. It worked but it gradually dropped again. So I am now on trt at 100mg a week.

This^^^ Also your LH and FSH numbers might be off. Its typical for doctors to determine what type of hypogonadism ails you. Primary or Secondary. (Primary means your testicles are not functioning properly. Secondary often means your pituitary is not functioning properly.
If you have high LH and FSH in combination with low testosterone you have Primary Hypogonadism. This means your pituitary is “yelling” at your testicles to produce more testosterone but they are not responding. If you have low or normal LH and FSH in combination with low testosterone you have Secondary Hypogonadism.

Whats concidered high, Just if it is out of the range....cause I kind of feel like that range is bull
 
Usually normal LH levels are around 0.7 to 7.9 IU/L
FSH is around 1.5 - 12.4 mIU/ml

Check your blood work copy to find where you stand
 
it will block estrogen to your pituitary gland and cause your LH and T levels to be artificially higher. guess what happens when you stop taking it?

it is not a hormone though, so its not like you would gain muscle from doing this.
 
Yes I've heard it can be an alternative to trt before. Nolvadex shouldn't be ran for extended periods but I've heard docs that say Clomid can be run for longer periods. I would take aromsin when you come off.

I guess we will see what he says when I go back for bloods in a month.

He pulled the "I dont want to give you T because it has the possibility to make you not able to have kids" Even though I said I am not interested in kids. Id rather just not feel like shit.

I understand where he is coming from but its been over a year of this shit and multiple docs. Hopefully he is openminded enough.....we shall see
 
Time for a new doc! My doc that had me on TRT told me that nothing will come close to the real thing. Not to mention I know dudes that have been on test for YEARS and have since had children. If nothing else maybe get a second opinion, there's no harm in doing so. He sounds like he wants to take an ultra conservative approach, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Your levels have gone through a big drop in a fairly short amount of time. Do you know what the cause for this was?
 
This is my third opinion. First doc put me on HCG for 6 months. Didn't give me anything for PCT. I crashed pretty hard. Got a second opinion. He said I was fine and nothing was wrong with me because I was within the range. Said I was probably depressed and that it was all in my head. I almost hit him.

This is the third doc now.

Now my numbers are so low I think because of the HCG. Originally I have no idea. Just started to feel like shit.

Ya. 2 months on 1 off. 1000mg a week. 2 cycles. Sao the same thing. Didn't want to give me test because of future possible children plans.
