Creatine for MMA fight

I saw the thread from yesterday asking about cycling creatine. I wanted to know because I will be cutting weight before my fight (2weeks out) and wanted to know if loading creatine leading up to the fight will benefit me in any way or will it just be a waste and over consumption? I know that creatine is beneficial for sure giving energy to the muscles and especially after a 12-15lb water cut it could be really helpful for me to have as much creatine in my system. What do you guys think?

Do you think it's really going to matter? You are going to crying "uncle" within the first couple minutes anyways. :)

Loading creatine will do nothing more then give you a really upset stomach and GI issues.

Your body can only absorb so much. Using more then 5g of creatine per day will not benefit you in any way, but cause side effects.

Let's start at the top: 12-15lbs of any kind of loss shortly before a fight is a LOT. 5-6lbs seems reasonable. So lose weight slowly NOW.

'm also not sure what benefit Creatine has for an MMA athlete. In a short bout I can see it being useful but beyond that...?
Isn't the point of athletes cutting down so drastically to ensure that the weight is mostly water weight and a lot of it can be regained between weigh in and fight time? If you cut slowly you won't be able to regain as much just before the fight. It usually isn't ignorance on the fighter to leave the weight loss till last minute but a gamble that if executed properly could give them the advantage.

It's the gamble that's the issue. Ask the bodybuilders who fucked up the diuretics. Water weight loss on most diets is in the order of the 5-6lbs I already mentioned. Beyond that there are issues with mineral salts, electrolytes and the time to load back up after. We've seen, even recently MMA fighters NOT make weight.
