I started taking Creatine Monohydrate 3 weeks ago. I had bloodwork done 2 weeks ago. I got a copy of my results from everything today and the Creatinine number was 1.0. Is that an ok number since I'm taking Creatine or is it too early to tell? Should it be higher? Thanks.

It's a marker which gets higher when we use Creatine and also after training. The next time you have a test have a few days off both to get a better indication.

That's an average number. Since you took the test after a week of usage it's probably not very accurate as it takes some time for those muscle creatine stores to get maximized.

funny story a few years ago i went to a doctor and she started poking her nose into my weight training and then went into a rant about how supplements are horrible because her son took them and his kidney #'s went sky high blah blah blah. I just smiled and nodded my head, not going to get into a debate with a stupid person.

It's fine. It will probably get higher in time

Let it build up. 1 week isn’t enough.
