Customs Package Seized?

I ordered from Naps a few weeks ago and this is what my tracking history says.

Inbound Into Customs
Your item is being processed by United States Customs.

ISC MIAMI FL (USPS)

Does this mean the package is likely seized since there have been no updates yet? Should I expect a SWAT team raiding my apartment? Is this usual and how does this usually work?

Ha no. Packages take anywhere from 2 days to a week (sometimes much longer around the holidays) to clear customs and enter the normal mail system. If it does get seized, you get a letter telling you so, and that you can come pick it up if you have DEA permission to import it (you don't amd.you can't). If that happens, get a PO box in the future.

It usually needs to sit there for weeks as suggested above and you will get a customs letter saying that the package has been seized because they found XXXXXXXXX in it.

If its your first time its just a letter. I know some people who have used the same address and gotten a couple letters. If you do get a letter just grab a PO box or have another address ready to ship to.

DEA/SWAT is not coming to kick your door down.

Can anyone explain the PO box process and details? Do I put the box in my name, or have no choice?
If a package gets seized in my PO box do I still get a letter?
Just looking for some info

Yes you still need to get a PO box in your name, and if the package is seized, you get a letter to the PO box. If that happens, you just get a new PO box.

Ok. I thought the local police would be waiting for your arrival

USPS needs 2 forms of ID.

if it is seized who cares.. just go to another post office and get a different one

you should wait some days to check if it is seized , if no update one week , so be sure seized ,and you will get a seized letter from custom , and you will not have any problems when seized happens , another it is easy to arrive to usa , if this happens many times , you should consider to change source

This isn't always true. I've had packages sit in customs for over two weeks before, and still deliver (around the holidays). I've also had a packages sit in customs for over a week and then be returned to sender (with no letter).

If the package gets RTS, what usually happens? Does the sender (speaking mainly abt PSL) notify you or anything?

Every reputable vendor I've used reships in this case. You may have to contact them directly to let them known that it happened though.

If it’s seized the vendor usually wants a picture of the letter with the address high should match the order to prove seizure. Then reputable vendors will reship free of charge.

I hope everyone realises that when a package gets seized, it's not just your address/po box that gets flagged. The name you provided does too. So if you are using your real name/ID for a po box, and you get a seizure, it's not as simple as just getting a new po box if you are just going to continue using your real name.... just something to think about

PSL takes care of their customers man. the tracking will show that you never got your package. whether that means it was lost, stolen, or seized they got your back no matter what so i wouldn't worry

USPS has not way to check packages against a flagged list of names or addresses. We are talking 100's of millions of packages per month per facility. It's mind boggling and they simply don't have any automated way to auto-stop these small postal packages. You guys are worrying way too much.

More often than not (although not always) it is customs flagging the sbipper's address, not the recipient's.

Exactly the USPS is such a cluster fuck they probably couldnt even tell you what day of the week it is....

how can that be true? an address is unique. names there are thousands of people with the same names. you flag a name you could be flagging thousands of people, an address that is flagged is 1 only

No you're right, names aren't unique. But name are unique to adresses or po boxes, if a package gets seized to a certain address or po box and they are registered to "john smith", well they have pretty well narrowed down who you are.

I know most of the time you will be fine if a seizure happens. But i know that if you keep getting seizures, they show an interest in you. Doesn't matter if you constantly change your delievery address or po box, they will connect the dots if you use your real name.

Believe it or don't, up to you. Just trying to let people be aware. A mate of mine got raided for this shit. If LE want to be cunts, then they will

Aus post here in australia defintely have figured out how to do that shit. And the cunts do it all the time. Fuck we get seizures on domestic parcels. Maybe it doesn't work the same wherever you're from, if not then i envy you. But that's how it is here. I still think it's pretty naive to think it can't happen elsewhere.
