Cutting water and diuretics

I have had a few guys at the gym ask me about cutting water and diuretic use for competitions. The shit they tell me that they plan on doing is crazy. Do people not even think about the detrimental effects this could have? So, I was curious what everybody's protocol is for cutting water? I am not looking for advice.

Being too aggressive cutting water will do more harm then good because you will remove all the intra-cellular water inside your muscle tissues and appear flat on stage.

I have most of my competitors stop drinking around Friday 6PM before a Saturday morning competition. I will have most people use 1/2 a tablet of dyadize Friday night and Saturday morning. That's it. Very small, minimal tweaks.

That is very similar to what I do but the people that want to use lasix or aldactone without any clue of how they work are nuts.

as muskate said you can really backfire on things. its all about adjusting to find out what works best for you.. unfortunately it is a shame if you went through all that prep to fuck it up by screwing up your water situation

people in my country also use lasix, dear muskate put some lite on it whats the different n who's the best?

Dyadize is the safest diuretic as it is potassium sparing.

You would have to take a lot, but you could kill yourself if you over do it on with lasix.

I take them through every cycle. Noticed it not only keeps the water off but also keeps my blood pressure in the normal range. I have been checked a few times and had lower potassium levels when on so I supplement potassium as well
