ok so i was at the gas station the other day and while i was paying i noticed some boxes in a glass case behind the counter. To my surprise it said ephedrine hcl 25mg. i thought the stuff was illegal (tho i kno you can find it on the internet). it says on the box that it's used to treat asthma, but i can use it for weight loss purposes right? and if so what's a good dosage?

It is not illegal (except in two or three states), but marketing it for weight loss etc was made illegal by the federal government. Additionally, it was changed from an over the counter drug to a behind the counter drug. This means you must ask for it, and have your identification recorded with every purchase. This is to combat use as a methamphetamine precursor.

legal or not it is a shitty weight loss stimulant. just like calorie restricted diets it will only work in the very short term, but long term you will likely just gain more weight
