I heard that estrogen blockers will help keep off the extra pounds like love handles and such due to estrogen adding fatty tissue to you.. true or false?

estrogen is a female hormone so to much will cause fat around the mid section and chest, cause gyno, water retention etc, so always use an estrogen blocker or an a.i when on the offending steroids like testosterone etc, in laymans terms

All the AI's on the Planet will do nothing if you aren't Cutting Out Foods that promote Estrogen.
So lots of Cruciferous Vegetable will Help to Block Estrogen ~ Broccoli/Kale/Cauliflower/Bok-Choy/Collard-Greens/Brussel Sprouts/Cabbage
Flax & Sesame Seeds will Block Estrogen ~ it's the Polyphenols in them.
Mushrooms ~ Shiitake/Portobello/Crimini/and Baby Button work best.
Red Grapes ~ the Resveratrol in them helps Block Estrogen.
Whole Grains ~ Not Processed
Green Tea
Pomegranate Juice ~ Not Sweetened or eat it Whole............................................. JP

Foods that Promote Estrogen are very Numerous and it requires a little work on your Part.

All Water in Plastic Bottles that aren't labeled "BPA (Bisphenol-A) Free".
Linings in Canned Food that aren't Labeled BPA free.

Commercially raised Meats and Poultry that eat Grain and use Hormones/Antibiotics and other Chemicals mixed in with their Feed.
Farm raised Fish aka "Frakenfish"
Eggs that aren't "Free Range", yes even Organic can be loaded with Estrogen due to feeding Grain to the Chicken.
Soy Milk or any Soy Product that isn't Fermented.

GMO corn raises Estrogen and has been Linked to other Diseases in a 2012 Study of GMO Corn and Roundup (pesticide)

Again this is a Short List as I could go on, there's so many Estrogen Causing Compounds in our Air/Food/Water/Pesticides/Shampoo's and even some Personal Products for Women, you as the Consumer really and I do mean really need to get Educated on this by doing Research and always reading Labels.

Very good info JP ,yes our food now days is loaded with chemicals ,gmo crops it's sickening and 90 % of the people in the world don't know or even care what they are putting inside their bodies .I fill freezers with wild game I harvest myself every year ,we grow our own vegtables in the summer and eat organic veggies the rest of the year .it's amazing what these big companies can call food and put in a package for people to eat .
 
AI's won't burn fat if that's what you're thinking. Keeping estrogen under control will help keep hormones in check, keep energy high, limit water weight/bloat, and help with overall gains in lean tissue.

I use to live in Amish Farm Country in the 70's.
I've been watching the American Farmer become an "Endangered Species", and soon we will follow if we don't change.

Somewhere along the line, the American People started to believe that The Big Agro Companies could do it Better/Cheaper/Healthier.
We swallowed that Lie ~ Hook - Line - and Sinker.

All you have to do is go into any Big City and look at the People in General.
You'll see an Overwhelming amount of Overweight and Morbidly Obese people no matter where you look.......................... JP

Wow I was aware that foods can actually promote estrogen
 
I don't have much to add on top of what JP said.

High estrogen levels can lead to fat gain (especially around the midsection and hips) BUT there is so much more to fat gain and loss then just estrogen levels.

The best thing you can do to keep estrogen levels (and body fat levels) in check is to eat a well balanced diet, try to limit stress levels, do cardio 304 days per week and weight train 4-5 days per week.

Blocking the estrogen is just one factor among dozens of other not less important factors. It might help to lose some fat. However, there is much more to that, and you would need a strict diet, together with proper exercise.
 
It will help manage bloat and to an extent some minor fat storage but in no one does it help to actually burn fat
 
whatever way you cut it . ai's should not be used as fat loss agents. estrogen from food can be controled by diet and its not only unheathy food that causes estrogen spike. learn your foods.

Wow I was aware that foods can actually promote estrogen

foods are number one the worst. especially sugar. then you get the "healthy items" that jp just informed you aren't what they appear. Then there is even lotions, toothpaste, soaps, oils, etc that are super bad for you too
