First post to evo boards. I'm 35, 5'6", 185 lbs, bf around 15%. I found this board and after skulking around a bit, I really like the vibe here. It looks like the vets and mods are really into taking care of the members. I really like that and it makes it feel like a family. About my history, my first round, I was around 25 years old, basic Test E, got some good gains. Always had been into weight training, but never for bodybuilding necessarily. My last round was last year, Test E and Deca, gained around 25 lbs., kept most of it post cycle, but now body fat going back up (damn chocolate). Wanna lean up before I go with another round. Always seemed like I was able to put on muscle easier when my body fat was lower.

Anyway, good to meet you all. Hope to post more in the future.

Welcome to Evo !
Glad to have you on the Forum................................................... JP

Welcome to the board.

What you noticed andetoadely is completely correct. Being lean puts you in a much more favourable environment for muscle growth. Your muscle insulin sensitivity is high and your body aromatizes very little testosterone to estrogen.

Even in the offseason, I don't recommend getting much about 12% body fat

Welcome to the EVO community!

Welcome fellow newbie to Evo forums. I'm new here also and I do agree after reading up on some of the post these bros seem to be legit in helping and taking care of fellow members. As far as cycles I can't help you there (new to all this) but any info you can sling my way for a beginner would be much appreciated. Tyvm

I was early 20s when I did my first cycle and had been lifting for about 5 years. My first round was a basic 12 weeks of 500mg of Test E. I would just stick to the basics at first. To me, it depends on what your goal is. If you want to bulk, eat - If you want to gain muscle but stay fairly lean, eat less and cut carbs. Most of my cycles were just the basics. I've never tried any of the HGH or Sarms or anything like that. Besides your diet, PCT is very important to get your body back up to speed after your cycle. I never did the blast / cruise thing, but I would possibly be open to it. You always hear how guys lose everything they put on during a cycle, but I never really had that issue. Most of those same guys will tell you that they felt like crap after they cycle and their diet and workouts went to hell so it's no wonder they lost everything. You have to give your body a reason to hold onto to that newly formed muscle.
