Extremely High progesterone!

Hey guys, just got my new lab results. I was shocked at how high my progesterone was
Total T >52 nmol/L (8.64-29.0)
E2 48.67 pmol/L (28-156)
prolactin 252.30 uIU/ml (57.24-322)
Cortisol 6.42 ug/dl (6.2-19.4)
SHBG 6.52 nmol/L (14.5-48.4)
PROGESTERONE 19.54 nmol/L (0.7-4.3)

As you can see, my progesterone is crazy high. Im now starting to wonder if thats the cause of ED and low libido in my current cycle (Test E only 600 mg pw). Any idea how to lower it significantly?

Woah that's weird , especially from first time test user? Think there's only 2 ways to lower prog -day after pill and stana ... But I've also had prog a bit higher and I was told if prolactin and estro was in check not to worry. I'm not sure in your case though as that's really high

Your progestin levels are really high for running a testosterone only cycle. You are running an AI with your cycle right? If you aren't using an AI, get one ASAP and start using it. Aromasin at 10mg EOD is a good dosage.

You also need to either get prami or cabergoline and start dosing 0.25mg EOD.

I don't understand the advice I am reading above. no offense to anyone but adding MORE DRUGS to the equation makes zero sense, especially anti-prolactin drugs which will do nothing here. are you using an AI? estrogen will stimulate progesterone. this is why i tell guys it is stupid to use high dosages of testosterone in cycles, and especially stacking it with other aromatizing compounds like deca or dbol.

you need to come off testosterone and give your body a break. run a full PCT. hopefully your blood work normalizes quickly

you are noticing your ED problems but you aren't noticing something potentially much more dangerous and that is prostate enlargement. this can cause urination problems and put you at risk for prostate problems, even cancer!

Cabergoline will LOWER progesterone. Not raise it.

Yeah guys I am using an AI ( aromasin). My E2 levels are 13 pg/ml when converted.

Its kinda interesting.

Usually progesterone shoots up when estrogen and prolactin are through the roof.

Now in this case, estrogen is in check, prolactin slightly higher but still in range. Yet progesterone is insanely high. Also cortisol seems low. How long have you been on cycle ?

Been on this cycle for 8 weeks now, 2nd and 3rd week was doing great in every aspect- libido, confidence etc, but after that it all went downhill. I did have high E2 in the first few weeks but I got that under control... it's just confusing and frustrating to me.

What were his blood values before the cycle? So far we have been assuming elevated progesterone is the result of his cycle. What if he suffered from elevated progesterone before the cycle started? Isn't testosterone a hormone created downstream from progesterone? Perhaps as his endogenous testosterone decreases, his progesterone increases?

I've had pre cycle bloods done, prog was perfectly normal at 1.6 BUT my E2 was at the high end, it's the opposite now

Caber dont lower progesterone. Winny and RU-486 lower progesterone but is very slow.
The best way is to use HCG and lower test dose to <200mg/wk.

I dont have explanation for this. For a long time i had high progest and not found nothing that cold help me. With this, i did several tests and what decreased was HCG and lower test to 200mg/wk. I dont know exactly if it lower test or HCG. [emoji6]
