Hi everyone, 40+ male with 30% body fat. Still do cardio regularly and am wanting to cut a LOT of weight to start endurance running again along with some weight training. Power lifted in college (clean. Yeah. I know dumb) so have experience. Any advice to get started. Was looking into Clen do jump start my weight loss but my info is outdated for sure and done even know where to start getting the stuff I need.

Thanks for your time

If you are 30% bf then you don't have diet in check. Get that in check before you consider drug use. Drugs don't work without proper diet so why take them if they won't work.

And it's dumb why?

you should not endurance run at 30% body fat. that is a great way to destroy your legs and end up with major chronic injuries with hips, feet, knees, shins, etc.

what you need to do is message me and have me help you with how to eat going forward. you can and you will lose fat but it will not be so simple as 'cutting calories' .. you need to do this the right way and permanently

and using clen at your body fat is not only a waste of time but it is dangerous. clen does not work

clen will destroy your heart.
check your diet and workout, when u are on 15-18%bf you can think to do a test cycle with some oral like tbol or var

at 30% of bf is too dangerous for your cardiovascular system and u will not get anything.

Welcome brotha!

Yea so as others have stated stay far far away from clen. Its terrible on your heart to begin with and at your bodyfat levels its just going to cause you harm.

Ease back into training if you have been out of the game for a while as you def dont want to end up with injuries.

Power lifting is great but if you are trying to cut weight and bodyfat you would be better served doing a good mix of cardio and full body strength training in the 8+ rep range.

That way you get your body acclimated to the movements and then can start adding weight as you get stronger.

Only thing id really recommend for you to help for a PED perspective is maybe Cardarine or a simple sarms stack but really gotta focus on diet/training to start.

I see a lot of people suggest not to run AAS with high BF because of the negative effects on your health, but what about SARMS? I see people suggest SARMS to someone who might not be ready for AAS.

I still think someone with real high body fat % should get the diet in check first. Then try SARMS. Its not a magical drug if you eat McDonalds daily still.

I'm no expert though.

The non-hormonal ones are fine like cardarine and SR9009.

You can run those and the increase in cardiovacuslar endurance will help lose weight and burn some fat assuming training and diet is in place.

They are not liver toxic nor do they mess with your lipids, etc so they are safer than AAS but still they arent going to change your physique if your muscle is covered in fat.

Yeah I might give those a shot this winter/spring and try and finally get to a decent BF. I’m probably around 25-30% and I’d love to be under 20% this year. I had a good diet going for about 3 months and then I went into a maintenance diet and pretty much went back to my old ways of eating. Luckily I haven’t undone all the work I put in but still nowhere near my desired goal.

Its a looooooong journey man! Take your time and do it right too many people think they can just slash calories and work out like crazy and they get so burnt out.

Just come up with a plan that will work with your schedule and stick to it while modifying training/diet as necessary.
