Good breakfast idea?

Hey today i mixed in like a half cup or so of oats from the quaker jug into my blender cup with my muscle milk brownie batter protein powder. And then threw some milk in there. It was actually really good. I am thinking about doing this for my first breakfast of the day good idea? Or is making regular oatmeal better? Let me know what you think.

Not sure what is this supplement you are using but if that works for you then go for it. Sounds like a sort of home made mass-gainer concoction.
I was thinking that maybe add in some healthy fats as well.

But in any case there are no must-have breakfasts. Everyone is different and not everyone wants to eat bacon and eggs or whatever first thing in the morning.
 
muscle milk is garbage. also milk isn't something i would add to anything but that is a discussion for another thread

you don't need a big breakfast and no breakfast isn't the most important meal of the day.. don't buy into the scam. humans actually evolved skipping breakfast, food was way down on the list of tasks for the day
 
^ Depends on what you mean by breakfast. Whenever you eat your first meal of the day, isn't that technically a breakfast (you are breaking the fast)?
So what you are saying is eating nothing is good which I don't approve.

As far as milk and dairy goes I am not even gonna delve into that but they are certainly not even nearly as bad as you make it out to be. Their effect on human health has been researched for decades and current literature doesn't support your claims.

Now there is something to consuming large amounts of high fat dairy products but given the population that we see on this forum I would assume they avoid that stuff for the most part.
 
You can use that as a meal if that's what you're asking. Not a ran of the milk in there, but whatever floats your boat
 
You could make this your breakfast, sure. Also not a huge fan of the milk, but that's fine too.
