HCT blood count

I just gave blood 2 pints to be exact. My HCT count was 52 today. That’s the highest mine has ever been. I know that’s only 2% above the male average but I don’t want it going any higher. Whats some of the counts you guys have noticed? Is there a way to easily monitor it at home?

The easiest way to lower it is to give blood. Most steroid users have high hematocrit levels. Perfectly normal. It's important to give blood regularly to keep bringing those numbers down.

Try to give blood every 8-12 weeks on cycle and every 12-16 weeks off cycle

I donate as often as I can

i've used my fair share of steroids and never had this issue, just focus on staying healthy .. eat healthier .. good things will happen

No way to monitor at home but if you are concerned then see your doctor.

im with roy on donating every 8-12 weeks.. thats an easy way to stay on top of it or just ask your doctor
