I need some help. I'm starting to work on my legs and everytime I go hard I usually don't recover for about 4 days. I would like to work my legs at least 2-3 days a week, but I can't due to the pain. Is there anything out there that speeds up recovery time really well?

Sounds like you're referring to Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS).

If you're new(ish) to working legs at a that level, it will get better, but never go away. Eventually, you'll start lying and calling it "the good pain" as you struggle to get off the toilet.

The best thing you can do to reduce recovery:
1. Eat a high protein diet
2. Rest and recover after your workouts. Go for massages. Get as much sleep as possible. Foam roll/stretch etc.
3. Supplementing with BCAA can help reduce delayed onset muscle soreness. I personally use the BCAA product gear from n2bm.com.

Most people will be sore 2-3 days after a leg workout. Training your legs more then twice a week is really a lot and excessive in my opinion.

This is quite normal, and I don't see why would anyone train the legs more than once or twice per week. Remember, those muscles are big, and they need time to recover. After all, they grow when you rest, and due to the fact that you walk around all the time, they get little rest in reality. Therefore, just let them be, and maybe work on them once per week by now. Then your recovery will improve, and you will be able to do two leg workouts per week.

In the beginning, you will feel the DOMS. A few following workouts will be a total bitch to go through. But in a few weeks, your body will get used to train them twice per week. Then, when you are good for training them twice, take one more step further, and start training them 3 times.

Had this issue myself, was told to 'man up' and eventually it worked out perfectly.

5g of a good fish oil will really help if you are experiencing DOMS. Leg days are definitely tough and take time to recover from. I train them twice per week but at different intensities. Try switching your routine to incorporate a heavy day and a volume day.
