Injection Site Stiffness

So, I've been running prop for the past couple of weeks, and though the oil is very smooth, I tend to get rather stuff/sore in that area a day or so after. I don't think I'll pin my delts anymore with prop, because lateral raises were difficult the other day haha.

I am pinning 1cc eod. So it's not a HUGE amount of volume. Is this common with prop? Other than a heating pad, is there any way to alleviate this or to prevent it from happening?

My left glute is quite sore at the moment. It's a pain getting in and out of my car lol. It hurts like a bitch to stretch it. Should I be stretching it more then?

Thanks in advance, ya'll!

I do that with all my vials for pinning. Especially ace.....
Just smoother.
It could be scar tissue, maybe? Rotate often?

So applying heat to the vial will help because of props quicker crystallization rate, is that right?

If you have to heat up your gear switch sources! Plain and simple. GSO in a 25g pin works fantastic, pin takes a little bit no matter where you pin but that's good. No **** no heat.

I have been doing glute, glute, delt, delt then throwing in a quad every once in a while. I'm about 8 weeks into a cycle, and was running a longer ester to start pinning a lot less frequently. I don't think it could be scar tissue already?

The source is good and legit. I honestly think I'm doing something wrong. I'm a prop virgin (just propped my cherry bwahahaha) so that could have something to do with the stiffness?

Its not my prop just so everyone knows haha, just trying to help him out.

Im not entirely sure on the science behind it but from my understanding, yes, the solution holds longer in the muscle at higher temperatures, causing it to dissipate further before crystallizing.

Yes, it's not Xeno's gear, but it certainly is a highly sought after product on here. It's not the gear itself, but most likely my being new to pinning, and upping the frequency to using prop.

Are they virgin muscles?
I have only pinned glutes a few times. When I was running the longer ester I was just rotating left delt, right delt.

New injection sites often hurt a little after.
It's more annoying than anything. If I wake up in the middle of the night and roll over, it bothers me and wakes me up more which is annoying haha.

After a while it gets less painful I still hate it personally. Just rotate spots and warm up oil youl be good
I need to break my virgin muscles in!

I'll warm it up a bit tomorrow and see how I fare.

Thanks to all who contributed!

After a couple of more weeks, youll be good, man......
When I restarted after a few years layoff, sometimes the soreness would creep up a few days after....the subside. Not painful, just dull, annoying knot and soreness.
Especially liked you described: in bed rolling over on pin site, or even everyday movements.
Just gotta rough it out, bro.....

Testdude i been exactly where you are about 3 weeks ago. Left quad man. I limped and bitched and even had to fall into bed haha. Until i got a heating pad. Man that thing helped so much. Try it bro. Walmart has them for like 15.00

That's really reassuring. It obviously isn't so bad that I can't walk, just really annoying when I stretch the muscle a certain way. It's kind of firm and knotted to the touch too. I tried foam rolling it out, but not sure it helped. That was pretty painful haha.

I hold mine in front of a plug in heater after a shower. Man the heat helps a lot.
I had a nice ass heating pad and forgot it when I moved. Rookie mistake :(. I'll look into getting a new one!

Most probably, the reason is that your muscles are not used to so many injections yet. Let them adapt, and it should get better. Also, I always found that warming up the oil greatly helps with the injection - it goes smoother, and it is less painful.

I heat mine a bit I'd it's prop. I also rub it out or roll it out with a lacrosse ball. Lacrosse balls are dense rubber. I toss that sicker in the microwave for 30 seconds and roll out the injection site with it.

That's what I was thinking. I totally forgot to warm my oil this morning. I need to wake up a bit before I get things rolling haha.

What's the best method to heat the vial?

try mixing the oils
I would but I'm using prop only at the moment. I'm going to be getting bloods for this source so I want it to be as accurate as possible. Since I'll be shifting to my TRT dose at the end of this cycle, I'll mix them in the same dart near the end so I can start getting the longer ester back in my system :).

I just made a make shift heating pad: Ziploc freezer bag, throw a wet towel in the microwave till hot and seal that sucker in the ziploc. Place a small cloth over the injection site, and apply the "heating pad." Worked like a charm!

Normal, just keep switching sites. I find it best to pin AM so the oil has more time to dissipate

I'm a morning pinner myself :). Last thing I want to think about after a hard day of work--on top of other chores at home--is pinning. Get er done bright and early.

A little PIP is normal with test prop. Especially with a virgin muscle. I would start rotating site and using only 1/2 cc per delt until the PIP goes away. Then up it to 3/4 cc, and finally to 1 full cc. Glutes and quads are the easiest sites to inject into (in my opinion). I have never experienced any PIP with either of those sites.

Here are some tips for reducing PIP:

1. Heat up the oil prior to injecting. Run the vial under hot water for 1-2 minutes. Heating up the oil will bring it closer to body temperature and make the oil disperse from the muscle into the blood stream much easier.

2. Gently massage the injection site for 1-2 minutes after the injection. It'll help disperse the oil into the blood stream.

3. I am a big advocate of training the muscle you injected into that day. It'll help disperse the oil from the muscle into the blood stream. In other words, try to time your glute injection on the day you train legs/glutes.
