intra workout drink

I already take a preworkout but was hoping you guys can give me suggestions of what I can add so I can make an intra workout shake, please give me a good combo

Seriously though, if you are eating a proper pre-workout meal 60-90 minutes before training and eating a meal or drinking a shake after your workout, you don't need an intra workout drink.

Intra workout drinks are really only needed by people like marathon runners because they are exercising for 6+ hours at a time. A bodybuilder who trains for 60-120 minutes does not need an intra workout drink.

You could drink a flavoured BCAA drink during your workout but it really isn't needed.

I personally would just drink water during your workout. Water has no calories and is free. Dont waste your money on some intraworkout drink that you really don't need.
 
While I agree that in most Instances, an Intra-Workout Drink isn't necessary.

I Personally have been using one since around 2010.

Because my Workouts are Extremely Intense, and will sometimes go on for over an Hour when On-Cycle.

And I do notice a difference in Performance with my Intra-Workout, as apposed to without...................................... JP
P.S.
But I don't use any Special Intra-Workout brand.
I use 1/3 of a Post-Workout, that's only Whey Hydrolysate/Maltodextrin/Creatine/Taurine/L-Leucine/and Leucine Peptides.
 
here is what I do but your dentist won't like it

bubble gum. it will do something simple, it will prevent low blood sugar during your workouts.. that is an option if you need something during your workout. but you don't need much of it, because as trevor said you aren't an endurance athlete who needs sugar during your workout that badly lol

bottom line though is if you get in a proper pre workout meal that contains complex carbs, that will give you the energy to power through your workout. you don't need a stimulant or preworkout shake
 
It is hard for me to say because I only drink water. I don't like anything flavoured while I train. It makes me nauseous. Just look at the ingredients and get a product that has BCAA and maybe some creatine. You don't want anything else like garbage fillers, sugar, etc. Also make sure there is no caffeine since you are already taking a pre workout drink.
 
I really like scivations tend. The pineapple flavor has been a long time favorite of mine otherwise i also like hyper amino from gaspari. The blue raspberry is very refreshing.
