Hey guys, I was told I should introduce myself so here it is. Lurked on these forums a long time and have gleaned a lot of valuable info, so thanks for that. Basketball has always been my thing, but I hurt my knee a few years back and finally turned to lifting as a competitive outlet. Once I committed to the gym and stayed off the court the quad tendinitis I was suffering from went away after about 6 months of easing into lower body strength training.
I really liked pushing my strength thresholds and setting new pr's, and started training for powerlifting. I have my first ever meet August 8th and really pumped about it. Hoping to hit 450 ish on bench, 625 deadlift, and a 600+ lb squat.
Anyway, that's it for me, looking forward to getting to know everyone and hopefully contributing where I can.
