Lou's First Cycle Log

2018rws

New member
Hey all!

Been a long time lurker and finally took the plunge into getting my diet, training, rest, and supplementation in order to maximize the results of my first cycle.

Former college rugby player, have trained extensively throughout my 20's and have good institutional knowledge of nutrition, training, sleep, but am relatively new to gear use.

Started trt at the end of last year and have really responded well at 250mg weekly with 1600 total T and 286 free T.

Have posted bloods for reference after 10 weeks on TRT.

Decided to bump the cyp to 400 and run var for 8 weeks. Have been on var for about 10 days now and have been at 400mg test cyp for the same amount of time.

Var is between 25-50mg depending on what body part I'm hitting. If I need more, I'll take more but given the lipid trashing properties of var, I'd like to stay on the safe side (for my risk profile)

I'm up about 10 lbs since starting TRT.

My goal here is to get the most out of my gear use, keep it minimal, keeping all of my bloods in the best range, getting the most radical transformation I can from my protocol , and really showing what is possible with a little gear and locked in discipline.

I'm hoping to get to 195 lbs with this protocol and around 10% percent BF .

So far really loving the Test + var combo. Great motivation, a little arrogant/cocky after ingestion but that settles down after I start hitting the weights. Had some sleep issues early on but took care of those by staying up later + ambien to get my circadian rhythym back. Being cooped up in the house has a bit to do with it as well I'm sure

Please feel free to share anything that you may find helpful, am here to learn and get the best return on my investment!

Lou great to see this log. I want to see you update it daily following it closely, this is good!
BTW, good training session.

Thanks, Eddie! Really having a ton of fun so far getting my gear dialed in, learning e2 management, and finding out what works for me. There was definitely an adjustment period the body goes through when introducing steroids into the routine so I’m glad I did it slowly.

Tomorrow am looking at back and leg work. Will post weight + training when I get my day going.

Cheers!

You got it -

Going to try and shake things up today hitting legs with back. Tomorrow is my off day so I'm really looking to get quite a bit out of today's workout.

Just made my morning oats with Blueberries + egg whites and added a tbsp of brown sugar + some salt.

Gear -

75mg cyp + 50mg var at once + caffeine for the increased bioavailability.

Here's what I'm thinking for legs/back - Feel free to let me know what you think

Leg Press - 4 sets of 12
Hack Squat - 4 sets of 10-12
Quad extensions 12,10,10,8
Lying Hamstring curls 12,10,10,8
Bulgarian Split squat as a finishing move 12,10,10,8

Barbell Row - 4 working sets of 10-12
T Bar Row - 4 working sets of 10-12
One Arm Dumbbell Row - 4 sets of 10-12

Typing this workout up is making me wonder if I need more nutrition to accomplish what I'm setting out to do today. I'll report back after training with a weigh-in and adding weights into my log. I'll have to make a mental note when I'm training as I try to rest sub 1 minute on each exercise and sometimes I throw around more weight/sometimes less depending on feel. But I will get you guys those numbers.

I'll get some progress pics up here today as well to give a baseline.

Have a great day everyone! Crush it! :D

Write down the weights too. It's all too common to see the sets and reps but if it's with pussy weights how you gonna progress?

While I agree that progress should be shown on paper, "pussy weight" is highly subjective based on individual goals, workload, and strength.

The overall goal here is progress, so weight will reflect a challenging pyramid up schema.

That being said, I'm keeping longevity in mind as well so there will be a balance in my output especially on challenging days where big muscle groups are seeing a lot of repetition/sets.

So that was... interesting. Going to keep back and legs separate from here on out. While I pushed myself outside of my comfort zone, the sheer amount of volume + sets of two major body parts on my 4th on day was a little too much.

Stuck with 25 mg var today and got some nasty back pumps which I foam rolled out. Below is my weight for working sets of today's regiment

Squat -12,10,10,8 (225, 225, 275, 275)
Leg Press - 4 sets of 12 (2 plates, 3 plates, 4 plates, 4 plates) Each side
Hack Squat - 4 sets of 10-12 (2 plates, 3 plates 4 plates, 5 plates (each side)
Quad extensions 12,10,10,8 (single leg) 50,60,70,80
Lying Hamstring curls 12,10,10,8 (Single Leg) 50,60,70,80
Bulgarian Split squat as a finishing move 12,10,10,8 (Kettlebells (15,18,20,25)

Back

Hammer Strength Row 4 working sets of 10 -12 (50,60,70,80)
Seated Cable Rows - 4 Working Sets of 10-12 (100, 120, 140 140)
Barbell Row - 4 working sets of 10-12 - DID NOT DO
T Bar Row - 4 working sets of 10-12 (185, 185, 185, 185
One Arm Dumbbell Row - 4 sets of 10-12 (70, 80, 90, 90)

My body is telling me it desperately needs rest + feeding

Protein shake with full banana, 40g protein + PB2 + almond Milk | Clean Eatz Meal ~ 100G carbs 70G protein 20G fats

While I enjoyed the challenge today, I got unfocused toward the end of my workout having already hit back this week. Going to keep my big body part days separate to allow me complete focus on the body part at hand.

It was fun and I am pooped. Probably won't do this again for a while but will toy around with the idea of doing it after a couple rest days.

GOOD MORNING!!

Sitting down to morning oats and I have a question for you veterans here.

Would it make any difference to lay off the anavar on my off days (once-twice a week) to give my body a little break? Any pros/cons to this?

Anyway - Here's my chest routine for tomorrow. I'll post up weights as I get to them. Nothing really crazy but looking forward to my numbers and work rate to increase with today being an off day + refeed. Adding an extra meal in today for a total of 5.

Breakfast is always the same with Oats + egg whites + coffee + fruit
Second meal | 9AM Clean Eatz | 17G fat | 40G Protein | 40G Carbs
Third Meal | 12PM | Clean Eatz Same profile | Protein shake 40G protein | 40 G Carbs |

Also - managed to form a relationship with a really good boutique UGL and I'm excited to test their Test-E 250.

I'll post my stash when it gets replenished this weekend with my pharma TRT and my UGL var + test and come back with results. I've been running Beligas for a little while now and have no complaints but enjoy having a relationship outside of the normal vendors that I can work with as well.

Cheers!

Hey Team!

Hope everyone is crushing their weekend. Just got back from hitting Chest and Tri's with a mate. Did his routine today. Check it out.

Great news as well with my TRT clinic. The compounding pharmacy they used is out of Houston and it was delayed for a while with the storm so they sent the script to another pharmacy as well. Both showed up today so I got two for the price of one! Score!

This was the end of my first week running at 500mg cyp. I can say that my body doesn't like it and I think I'm doing to dial back to 3-350mg so I can keep my feel good vibes going, my skin clear, and my sides minimal. Physical sides aren't that bad but was feeling a little melancholy and it's not something I'd like to experience especially when I can dial back the gear and get the same results. Am thinking 100mg MWF going forward.

I've been dialing in my dose from the get go and I can safely say that I feel much better at a cruise level as opposed to a blast and I know my body appreciates it too.

Anavar is still at 25 mg, wrapping up my first two weeks on it. I'm a big fan so far. My UGL really knocked it out of the park with their var. Great pumps, great focus, definitely getting leaner, and definitely feeling stronger.

Workout

Flat Bench Barbell Press - 2x20 135 warmup | Working sets - 185x10 185x8 205x6 205x5 185 x 10 (last two negatives)

Needed that day off, could possible have used two. Felt great today in the gym and the weight moved well. Shoulders feel great. Taking care to warm everything up before doing working sets as I hear many stories about being nice to your joints when such a dramatic increase in strength happens from using gear.

Tomorrow we deadlift!

Cheers

Following the whole Texas storm thing. The weather is normal for many places but Texas was not at all prepared for it

Tomorrow is back day!

Weight today was 184.5 post workout. Sticking around there so going to implement some snacking in between meals thinking some nuts + tuna for good fats + solid protein to see if I can't move the needle a bit. Slow and steady though.

Definitely post up pics of your gear porn man. Great that you still got a good workout in......even with being short on time. That is what separates those who progress from those who don't. Keep pushing brother!

Good Morning!

100mg Cyp + 50mg var this AM with my eggs + oats + supplements +coffee.

Anyone's brain feel scrambled after they take orals like Anavar with coffee? Not sure what to make of it but feel real head in the clouds for an hour afterward before I get going to the gym; borderline uncomfortable. I'm highly drug sensitive and I'm sure some of it is placebo but it's almost like I don't know what to do with myself for that time.

Back day today, heading to the gym in 45. Should be a good one, I'll report back with the routine + numbers.

Crush it today guys!

Tomorrow is Legs!

I agree, was probably being a little defensive because in my mind I want to see progression but I agree from reading a lot about anecdotal experiences a lot of guys are hopping on gear thinking it's magic. Thanks for keeping me honest about numbers; definitely one of the most important parts of this log!

Happy Friday Folks!

Today was gnarly! Legs and decided to throw in some back as well!

Got a lot of work done and happy with the results! No side effects to speak of on the test var, seem to have finally gotten dialed in which is good.

Will adjust if sides present themselves. Right now .25 adex e4d is keeping me in good shape Estradiol wise with no sides present for high or low e2. Will be interested what it's at next round of bloods.

USPS seems to be operating like a third world country right now and my UGL E250 test has been in purgatory for a week now. Hopefully it gets here soon but if not oh well. The game is the game.

Tomorrow is shoulders. Crush it everyone!

Keep us updated, good log, your car? :) nice.

Yup - My one big vice. Been tinkering with this one for a couple years now and am pleasantly surprised at the reliability and build quality of the Audi brand. Did a lot of work on it myself which I'd never do again because they're so over-engineered and there's way too many nuts, bolts, etc. but happy to have challenged myself. Now the question is to keep it or get something like a McLaren....

Good Morning! My UGL finally arrives today :). Excited to try the Test E250 from my source, can't say enough about their var and I'm sure the test will be similar.

Tomorrow is Chest! A few notes, all lifts are getting progressively better in a rather quick manner! Really stoked about it but being mindful of keeping up with my joints to make sure they're happy and really getting the most out of my rest days. Favorite days to lift are after a refeed/rest day; feels amazing.

McLaren dude you too rich for us. :) You a car racer? to buy that kind of cool car.
Full support for your log dude.

Good morning folks.

Sad to say I suffered some sort of strain/tear where my shoulder connects to my pec muscle on my first working set of bench press today. Tried a couple pushups and while the damage seems to be minimal, it's not something I'm willing to leave to chance. I'm having pain when closing a sliding door or when flexing my chest so I'm guessing it's a tendon of some sort but don't know for sure.

Going to the doc to get it checked out and going to get a proper diagnosis. Will keep updated. Going to continue the log just a little bummed at the moment as I've never been injured before and it wasn't something I expected. Oh well, that's life

Quick update. I think my mental state contributed to me thinking this injury was a lot worse than it is.

I still have full range of motion, next to no pain and a bit of soreness. Going to press on!

Tomorrow is leg work! Will keep you guys updated on how my shoulder feels tomorrow and will adjust chest work accordingly.

I see a lot of cables/machines in my future!

You shouldnt train around the tear or pain, you said around shoulder, at least take 2 weeks off training that part of the body. You shouldn't do chest at all until you have 2 full weeks of rest. You will do much better if you dont pound injuries and let them heal a bit then keep going.

Eddie thanks for the note. I think I got lucky and may have conflated what happened to my shoulder yesterday. My range of motion is good, soreness is at a minimum, and I was able to do shoulder work today with zero pain.

I learned a valuable lesson which is while being enhanced, to not outgrow one's limits, because even though my muscles are growing quickly, my joints/tendons do not. I read so much about being nice to your joints and being mindful of them while on cycle and even when I thought I was being careful, I got bitten.

Here was my work today. Intensity was down a bit and so was weight but happy with the work that got done

Leg Work

Leg Press | 2 plates x 20 2 plates x 20 3 plates x 20 3 plates x 20 4 plates x20 4 plates x 20

Quad Extensions | 4 sets of 12 40, 40, 50, 50

Hamstring Curls | 4 sets of 20 40, 40, 50, 50

Shoulder Work

Shoulder Press Superset with lateral rasies | 42.5 45 50 50 for Shoulder Press | Lateral Raises 17.5 17.5 20 20 | Sets of 15

Front Raises with Smith Machine Press Superset at 105 | 4 Sets of 15 | 20 lb dumbbells

Rear Delt flys | 4 sets of 20 with 20 lb dumbbell superset with rear delt cable work 5 lb resistance and 10 lb resistance for 4 sets of 20

Happy that I was able to get in the gym today and extremely thankful that I can work out, focus more on form, and learn a bit of humility. First time I've ever hurt myself in the gym so it's really making me re-evaluate how I train and how quickly something I take for granted can be taken away from me.

Tomorrow is back work. Will slightly ramp intensity back up when I feel comfortable with how my body is responding.

Have a good day guys!

Good Morning Everyone!!

Feeling a ton better after a little scare a few days ago. Today was back work!

Also adding another shake in the mix before bed. Been reading a lot about proper timing of nutrition and I believe staying anabolic throughout the night time with good sleep is going to be very important here.

I've noticecd more soreness than I'd like so I added a BCAA matrix before bed as well and I like how I feel when I wake up. My guess is that I was lagging a bit behind on recovery methods with how hard I've been training so I've backed off on the number of sets I'm doing and focusing more on recovery.

Really focusing on managing my shoulders during these workouts going forward. Now that I'm in tune with them after hurting one a bit, I can tell that they need much more rest than I was giving them and they need less of a load when I'm working out. I was going way too hard on them so I'm backing off, adding more fish oil to the mix, more glucosamine to the mix, and really focusing on my form when hitting my muscle groups. I've also been setting aside 10-15 minutes pre workout for stretching and really making sure I'm limber enough before starting my working sets. I've got good flexibility but my shoulders demand a bit more focus because of what I'm demanding of them.

Tomorrow is chest work, going to take it easy and do lots of machine/fly work and see how I'm feeling.

You should go get a massage, deep tissue at the pain site, like shoulder arms, you'll recover better.

Funny you mention that, I was just considering one last night. Have been using a theragun as well but a massage will be super helpful.

Today was Chest Work

Incline barbell tricep extensions 4 sets of 15 50lb bar

Behind the head rope extensions 4 sets of 15

dumbbells extensions 4 sets of 15

Bunch of other tricep work as well

Felt good today. My shoulders definitely do not like flat bench so I'm done with it. While focusing on form, I'm realizing how much load I was placing on my shoulders beforehand. Being mindful of form is not only helpful to prevent injury, but is equally as helpful targeting and isolating the correct muscle.

It took me a while longer to develop a good pump today because I wasn't going heavy on barbell or dumbbell press but I did achieve the fullness and pump I wanted eventually with minimal stress on my shoulders.

Tomorrow is back day!

Alright so a big update in one since I slacked off over the weekend :)

Weighed myself today empty and I'm 187 ^_^

Have bumped Var to 75mg daily, am pinning 100MG Test EOD and am feeling great! Fullness, pumps, great workouts, minimal to no side effects, all good.

Here's my work over the weekend and today.

Did some bicep work as well.

Really happy with how my physique is coming along. Making sure to hit all of my meals, shakes, supplementation, etc. and my body is loving it. Really seeing some growth on what can be classified as a 'lean bulk'.

Going to see if I can touch 195 by the end of this cycle, drop down to TRT, and then hit a shred mid/summer with the same stack. Really love var/test. Both medically accepted in the US, tons of research behind them, and both feel-good hormones.

Might take tomorrow off or might hit back again. Either way will keep you posted!

Hey All!

I. AM. CRUISING.

Weight is around 187 empty in the AM. With the Var + Test I'd be willing to bet not a ton of it is water but we'll see when I cycle off :)

Was feeling a little off the past couple weeks because I was super averse to using adex after hearing horror stories about crashed e2 etc. My E2 came in last round of blood work at 82 so I knew it was high but heard a lot about how riding high e2 is better than low e2.

Felt like I was getting out of my realm a bit bumping test to 400 and about 75 mg var. I was having good workouts but not much else during the day. I'd be down for a nap from 1-3pm no matter what and feel foggy the rest of the day. Moody. Gassed. No bueno

Switched to MWF injection 100mg each day, 50mg var, and. 25 adex each injection day and holy shit. I finally feel the feel good vibes that test/var produce. Can't wipe a smile off my face, full of energy, no oily skin, no weird thoughts, you name it.

Funny about getting dialed in because I had no frame of reference before I got my E2 in check. Seems like E2 management is a huge part of running an effective cycle and I'm happy that I'm getting a grasp on it the more I learn and experience.

As for my lifts, I'm having some of my best workouts.

My body needs rest. Tomorrow is an off day and we're back at it Sunday with chest! Looking to get after it with the dumbbells and really work on my chest which I think is one of my weak points.

Gentlemen!

Feeling fan-fucking tastic :). Really have everything dialed in. Here's a rundown of what my supplementation is looking like

2400mg fish oil
600mg nac
1200iU Vitamin D
200mg Vit C
Blood pressure health
Cranberry Concentrate for Kidneys
Glucosamine for Joints
20mg adderall (prescribed)
5mg Cialis EOD

100mg cyp today and 50mg var as always.

I have two weeks left on Var. Really happy with this compound so far. Hopefully my lipids aren't too out of whack but will post bloods when I finish my cycle.

Thoughts on everything gear related. Less definitely isn't more but less is better in my book. As someone who isn't competing and who works a ton/needs to be sharp, my number one goal is low sides. Now this wasn't the case when I started my hormone journey. E2 was riding high, was super moody, sleep was disturbed, var made me feel like I was on ecstasy when i first started it (got really anxious). Body really needs time to adjust to these compounds and I'm happy I've taken the slow and steady approach. Shit even some days I feel like I'm doing too much but at 300mg test weekly and 50mg var daily I'm objectively on the low end of the cycle spectrum.

Looking to run a mid summer cut with 400mg test/50mg var/ and proviron. been hearing great things about this compound and how it's got great synergistic effects with other steroids/is relatively safe+mild.

Yesterday was Chest. Not going to lie, my shoulders still were feeling my shoulder day last week on this chest day. I wish I could have gotten more done but listening to my body is priority number 1.

Pec Dec - 3x15 130,150,150,170
Incline Dumbbell Bench Flies 5x12 60,65,70,75,75
Incline Smith Machine Press 4x20 105 slow controlled reps focusing on the negative
Machine Press 4x10 70,70,70,70

100 Total pushups to burnout

Today was Back! Felt amazing today. I love to deadlift. Not only do I love the movement itself but I love the results it produces. Just knowing that my entire body is growing from this movement, creating that V taper, and really taking advantage of my enhancements :). Weight moved very nicely today.

I'm overall feeling like I've got a good grasp on what my limits are on these compounds I'm using. Very happy with my success so far from the weight I'm moving to the weight I've put on. Will be interesting to see what I level out at after I finish my var but I'm pretty sure I put on some quality muscle during this run.

Really looking forward to giving my body a rest, training at TRT levels, and then getting into a summer cut. Really having fun so far with all of this.

Deadlifts 4x10/8/8/Failure 275, 315, 335,335
Bent over Rows 4x12/10/10/8 155, 155, 165, 165

Straight Arm Pulldown 4x15 42.5/50
Dumbbell Rows 4x15/12/10/10 75,75,75,80
Machine Rows 3x20 110

Tomorrow is Legs/shoulders!

Thanks man! Can't wait for mid-summer shred cycle. Will be plotting it out when I wrap up my var cycle here in a couple weeks.

Thinking of sticking to Var + Test and maybe adding proviron and manipulating my diet + increased cardio. I like the strength + muscle I get from Test/Var combo and virtually get no sides.

Any suggestions are welcome though, have some time to plot this cut out. Feel free to suggest some compounds you've had success with; low sides/aromatization is my preference

Today was legs!

Leg Press 2 warmup sets 5x20 4 plates each side

Hack Squat Machine 4x20 with negatives 200lbs

Forgot to add Quad Thrust machine!

3 sets of 15 for 225 as a wrap up. This exercise was something I hadn't done before and really hit my entire core! So much so that I got a bad ab cramp when I got home and hit the floor. Will be adding it into my routine on leg day from here on out.

Another correction * It was a glute thrust machine not quad.

Tomorrow is an off day and my birthday. Much needed R&R and feeding. Looking forward to doing some work on Friday for Back day!

Happy St. Patty's day everyone!

Great job man, impressive how you recover from all that volume. Are you doing PPL x2 per week?

Thanks - Yeah my training has morphed into a PPL with 1 day off in between.

I owe a lot of my recovery to not deviating from nutrition, supplementation, sleep and stretching.

I could probably benefit from a bit more rest but I've only got a couple more weeks on anavar and want to get as much out of it as I can.

Today was good! Little tough but my body is feeling good for the most part. Really focusing on stretching my legs as they're getting a fair amount of work and going through some explosive movements.

Have added a couple more supplements for kidney health + BP health.

Those are Cranberry Concentrate (3tbsp) and celery extract powder. I've been reading a ton about how consistent use of celery stalk powder can do wonders for BP. Worth checking out for anyone who wants to keep their BP in range on cycle.

Today was back day! These are tough but I powered through and hit all my sets with focus

Deadlift - 4x10,8,8, failure 315 335 335 345

Bent over rows Barbell - 4x12 155

Lat Pulldown 4x12 120 120 120 120

Wide Grip Lat Pushdown cables - 4x12 50lbs

T Bar Rows - 4 Sets of 15 last 3 negatives with 45lb plate + 25lb plate

Dumbbell Rows 4x15/12/10/10 70 lb dumbbell

Machine Rows 3x20 50 lbs each side with negatives

Lot of volume today and a lot of work! Feeling back pumps quite a bit on the end of my 5th week of anavar so added magnesium before bed and during the day (1200mg) and that helps a bit. Bananas as well throughout the day.

Tomorrow is chest day! Hopeful to move the needle on my dumbbell work so we'll see where that takes us!

These are great updates mate. Very well articulated and good to see you’re enjoying a “lighter” cycle. You don’t half get through some volume! You sure you’re eating enough!? Haha.

I’ll be logging my next cycle once the UK gyms reopen. [emoji42]

Weekend update!

Tweaked my groin on Saturday doing squats so those are out of the equation.

I don't really have the hips for them or the full range of motion so I've been reading about leg routines that I can do without them. Going to work with this for the time being. Let me know your thoughts. Been icing, stretching, and taking ibproufen for the time being and will adjust my routine to keep strain off of it while it heals.

Going to be adding more cardio to my routines as I've been neglecting it without much reason to do so. Want to be more well rounded in my training so I think 20 minutes 2/3 times a week after weight training or on an off day will be my new norm.

Was focusing too much on eating and after some feedback my training is going to focus on a lot more strict movements when doing sets. Looking to build more dense, quality muscle going forward. It takes a lot of mindfulness, but I think I'm up to the task. Weights will decrease slightly as I've probably been ego lifting a bit so getting back into check there will feel good.

Tomorrow is probably an off day so I can take some more care of this groin before deadlifting on Wednesday. Will keep you guys posted.

Hey Gents! Yesterday was an off day.

Started doing this lower body stretching routine after tweaking my groin the other day and wow, what a difference this makes. My lower body, hips, legs were super tight!

Working through this stretching routine was tough! Felt like a workout in and of itself. Will be incorporating it going forward as I'm putting a ton of stress on my frame.

Today Was Back! Have been doing a ton of listening to the bodybuilding greats lately, especially Mike Mentzer and Dorian Yates. Can't tell if Mentzer is absolutely bonkers or really onto something with his heavy duty HIT training. Anyway, I like the idea of training one body part to failure once a week with more rest. Seems like way more time for the rest of your life, if done properly. It's going to require a bit of weight reduction and volume reduction which is okay in my book.

Tried it for the first time today on back day. All sets were done with strict contractions, zero momentum, and about a 3-4 second cadence. I burnt out a lot quicker but I felt like the mind-muscle connection with my back + biceps was worth it.

Limber 11 Stretching

Deadlift 5x5 315

No ego here today and from here on out. Going to focus on creating dense muscles with strict contractions. Let's see where it leads.

You're looking great! abs are coming in nicely too. Keep us posted.

Weight is hovering around 193. Definitely a little bit of water as I've been tracking my macros and haven't been over-eating.

Compound strength is definitely up. My pulls felt good. Being mindful of enhancements, I'm not pushing myself to the wall, but Was pretty happy to pull 395 for a deuce. Could probably have pulled 405 for a couple but not trying to injure myself as I've had a couple tweaks so far and don't have time for anything catastrophic :).

Running 75mg var daily for the last week or so of my cycle. Then have about 10 weeks left of my test blast. Currently around 350mg test/75mg var daily. Virtually zero side effects.

Have my labs sitting on the kitchen counter. Getting off my ass tomorrow and getting them done to see what the blood says!

Getting bloods tomorrow. Loving the var at 75mg sweet spot.

Been talking with my coach about adding Primo to my next cycle. Thinking about something like this. Curious to hear from people who have run this.

So yesterday wasn't an off day :)

Bumped test up to 550 for the rest of the cycle as I'm responding so well to it and having virtually zero sides. Got lipids done today to see where I'm at with Anavar so will post those as well when they come in.

Also was bored and bought a DMAA pre workout, Dark Matter. Thinking about utilizing it on heavy days once or twice a week but not a big fan of all the stuff in them so it will be used sparingly.

Your lipids are off, so you should work on them. Especially cholesterol, add some psyllium husk, flaxseed oil, fish oil and n2guard.

pretty standard, as long as it goes back to normal when you come off

use n2guard for sure

But follow his advice eh

Sorry - was a little bitchy from losing some $$ on the Knicks game :)

For the amount of volume you’re doing then I would say you’re under eating by at least 500-700cals. Unless you’re doing zero cardio and have a very sedentary job.

I do 35 minutes of cardio 2x a week. I work from home for a software company so my job is sedentary.

Glad to see blood work being done. It looks decent in my opinion based on what you are doing. Keep it up with the training and diet. Looks great so far.

Thanks - I supplement pretty heavily with good quality fish oils, liver and kidney support as well. Metabolic comp panel is getting done tomorrow and I'll post liver values + Test/estradiol, etc.

Today was Shoulders - Got it in my head to mix up the training a bit. Was kind of a meh session, but that's because I've been hammering my triceps and it's my 4th day on.

I need to agree with you here.

I cut back on my cals about 3 weeks ago because I was a little bloated but it turns out that was bad E2 management. Since then, I've lost about 5-6 lbs of water and am holding at 186 lbs. Going to up the cals a bit here and post back with the adjusted diet.

Of course they're off. I'm running anavar at 75mg a day.

'Of course' is not a good answer with health. I don't agree with that. You can take steps to remedy the cholesterol problem, seems you're not doing it. You will pay for it with your health later, that's why bodybuilders get heart attacks, even Arnold had OPEN heart surgery, should be a hint for you to take care of your lipids.

I've been doing this for a long time, I competed in many shows and still do, you should listen to my advice, I'm trying to help you stay healthy and compete longer without changing your cycle, but adding things that will make you healthier.

Sorry for the bitchy response. I had lost some money on the Knicks and was in a shitty mood :) I appreciate you looking out and will add Psyllium Husk and Flaxseed oil.

I take high quality fish oils at 3 grams a day.
