How does everyone deal with muscle cramps after workout?
Make sure you are getting plenty of water and your electrolytes are good. You may need to supplent potassium and or magnesium as well (potassium worked wonders for my cramping)How does everyone deal with muscle cramps after workout? When I leave the gym, it hurts even to hold my arms out to grab the steering wheel to drive home. I mean I kill'em. Is that normal? I never noticed until I started progressing up in weight lifted.
I don’t even understand the difference between pumps and cramps.
Really?
A pump, even a painful one, is just additional blood dilating the veins of a worked muscle.
A cramp is a severe and usually uncontrollable muscle contraction.
The former can be and usually are pleasant. The latter not so much.
So when I do a drop set and my arms are burning that’s a pump?
