Package seized sweden

Hi guys, currently in Sweden for 3 months and looks like customs has 2 vials of npp I sent myself, pretty well stealthed but if they are actually looking they will find it.
Anyone have any idea on the penalty? What I've read is all vague.
Back home in aus it's normally a letter, here they seem abit more militant.

Yeah. 2/3 came in so I still saved a boat load and finding domestic is hard.
More concerned if the penalties are just as extreme.

The Sweden Doping Act of 1991 makes it illegal to import, distribute, possess or use anabolic steroids.

The Act banning the use of certain doping substances (1991:1969), (the Doping Act), (and subsequent amendments: SFS 1999:44).

The Act came into force 1 July 1992 and was amended in April 1999, when usage became a criminal offence and the penalty was increased from two to four years for the severe kind of offence.

The Doping Act comprises:
a. synthetic anabolic steroids (chemically prepared male sex hormones),
b. testosterone and its derivatives (chemically prepared modifications of testosterone),
c. growth hormones,
d. chemical substances, which enhance the production and release of testosterone and its derivatives or of growth hormones.

Substances stated in 1 may not for any other than medical or scientific purposes be
1. imported in the country,
2. transferred,
3. manufactured,
4. acquired for transferral purposes,
5. offered for sale,
6. held,
7. used.

Anyone wilfully breaking 2 2-7 will be sentenced to a maximum of two years imprisonment.

Is a violation of 1. above considered to be slight, a fine or a sentence of maximum six months imprisonment will be imposed.

Is a violation of 3 first paragraph considered to be serious, a sentence of minimum six months and maximum four years imprisonment is imposed for serious felony against the doping act. When judging the seriousness of the crime it shall be heeded whether it has formed a part of activities carried out on a large scale or commercially and comprising a particularly large amount of doping preparations, or otherwise been of especially dangerous or ruthless nature.

Deals with attempts and preliminaries, forfeiture, and confiscation (shortened version).


Provisions for penalties for illegal import etc are found in the Act of penalties for smuggled goods.

In case of preparations not included in the doping act, offence against the Act of smuggled goods is applied (illicit handling of smuggled goods), and offence against the Medicinal Products Act.

Man i know, my packet got stock in custums from bodybuilding,com, i needed to pay tax to get my supp, lol sweden are not a good country to send from us over to Scandinavia ,

Its alot easy to get ur packet if u order in Europe country,

I would take it one further - after you do not reply and it gets to the end of the waiting period, they not only laugh but split up your gear amongst themselves and record that it was destroyed. Who is going to turn them in other than themselves? Who watches the watchers?

But I do think that is why they really do not care about chasing you down. If they do, it becomes evidence and they cannot keep it for themselves.

sweden is insane. its very hard to even get some supplements in there.

Take this seriously. Call a lawyer immediately. They will give you a consultation and speak with you for free. Call a couple and shop around.

Being your first offence you can most likely just get off with some community service and/or a fine.

Find out exactly what the laws are and where you stand. In the long run, whatever the lawyer costs you will be significantly less then trying to deal with the situation yourself.

Definitely seek legal counsel just to be safe. Only they will know what you are really looking at.

Yeah, I mean the one dude got raided with 10,000+ vials and all kinds of raws and got 2.5 years, which will likely be reduced due to "good behavior"...unless you have the real hard stuff like cocaine or heroin the penalties are pretty light
