PCT before show prep cycle?

Coach wants me to start getting ready for my first show. He is going to schedule the show 16 weeks out from when we start our training and have my diet he wants me to follow in order.

So I've been on a cycle of Test Prop for 6 weeks, still have 6 weeks to go. Our prep will start very soon!

So do I PCT after my 12 weeks is up, or do I just cruise and then blast the rest of the prep?

What would you recommend and is Prop going to be enough as long as my diet is as good as it can be with conditioning to do well in my first show?

If I do decide to do PCT , will this push me back and be counterproductive to my show prep? If I can train while on PCT and still make good gains with a solid diet and so forth, I would be more than willing to do PCT. But I feel that it may be counterproductive to do so at this time since my coach and I will be getting ready for my show.

I will be asking my coach this but I wanted your opinions.
 
So when you say "cruise" and "Blast" you are on TRT yes?

If so why would you ever PCT?

If you are suggesting that you take the 6 weeks you are on now and you push it another 16 weeks so a 22 week cycle I mean that has the potential to damage your natural production.

You can train and prep during PCT. It wont be fun but it really comes down to how thorough/complete your PCT is to have a soft landing.

To Mobsters point I wouldnt fuck with your body if you are planning on recovering and doing a PCT just because he scheduled a show.
 
i'm confused. have you ever used steroids before? if not, then you simply aren't ready to do a show right now. it takes more than 1 cycle to get into peak condition. sounds to me like your coach is going to throw a bunch of steroids at you and try and get you ready too quickly. that is crazy for anything man. if you had an MMA match would you just start 16 weeks ahead of time? or a boxing match? or a marathon? i mean yeah you can do it but fuck you are going to be very dissapointed. i would say you should give it a full year to get ready for a show and run 2-3 cycles in that span
