Pin expiration date

What's the longest any of you guys have used a pin still in the packaging past its expiration date?

If you're talking about needles, no idea. I bought 100 needles I bought about 5 years ago that I'm still using till this day.

Exactly, as long as you don’t open the packages and uncover the pins they’re technically still sterile.

Ya thats what ive been reading. The 5 year exp. Date past the mfg date is to safe keep the company. Appreciate the feedback brothers.

Well I’ve used them and never had an issue, stuff I ordered years ago.

Exactly, as long as you don’t open the packages and uncover the pins they’re technically still sterile.

Once the human race has extinguished itself, it will take Mother Nature approximately 10,000 years to eviscerate all signs of human endeavor (save for all things nuclear and, well, Cher). Based upon that, all remaining "pins" would likely biodegrade within about 2,000 years.

they are pennies a piece so seriously, if you are watching money that closely, then you probably dont have the funds to properly run a cycle...

They are packed sterile so they are good man. If it makes you feel better just get new ones since they are so cheap.

Yep. Pretty sure I paid 18.5 cents for each one of the 300 pins I purchased like three years ago. Dirt cheap!

And to answer to the question, I have no idea. Never tracked time on these. As longs as the package has been sealed and stored properly you should be just fine.
