progresso soup diet

Hello nutrition experts from evolutionary,
I have a question about the progresso soup diet.

Would you consider a can of Progresso Soup a round enough meal for a cutting diet?
While reading the label on the progress soup can I can tell each container give you 200 cal with 40% of those calories adding up from the fat.

I'm looking to do a hard 1,500 cal diet, I'm stupid fat right now I want to drop about 30lbs.

I can just eat like four to five cans of progresso soup per day and two to three of cans of Tuna or sardines and then some fibrous fruit, like pineapple with enzymes. I should be able to drop some serious weight going that hard down right?
I'm around 5'8 210lbs 42yrl all lard around my belly about 22% bodyfat I figure. I'm serious about cutting some 30 lbs of fat and I'm committed to it, I'm a retired boxer and I always fought around 140lbs to 160lbs so to be this fat now is insane but I had a bad drinking problem and overate from being drunk and having food nearby. A shame really.

I want to drop this lard and get on a good cycle once I'm around 10% bodyfat. Is this a good plan for me to follow to cut calories way down?

This sounds like 1 of those Diets that are Famous for Rebound Weight Gain after you stop it.

Just try a Sensible Diet based around Real Food.
If you want Soup, do like Steve says and make your own, it's easy even if you've never made Soup before.
There's Hundreds of Recipes Online.

You need to Really watch any Canned Foods as the Sodium Content can be very High.
And also when they give you the amounts, they are only giving you the amounts for 1 Serving.
Most Canned Foods have more than 1 Serving in them, so make sure you check the Info............................. JP

progresso soup is garbage, just like 'chunky soup' ... just expensive advertising to sell a crap product.

I would recommend you make your own soup, much healthier.. rather then buy soup out of a can

Also way to much sodium in canned soup. Making your own is both easy and way more healthy

It is never a good idea to limit your diet to just one or two products, as you will be missing a lot of vitamins and micronutrients. Besides, these processed foods will do no good for your health. As mentioned by @stevesmi - better do your own soups. It will take you max 1 hour of your time, and you will do enought soup for 2-3 days easily. Think about it. Also, if you are so concerned with dropping fat, you must start with reducing the carbs intake.

Bro this is the worst idea ever lol. Progresso soup?! Come on....

soup is actually pretty easy and beneficial to make if you do it yourself. It all starts with the right chicken stock, or you could always make your own chicken stock which is also pretty easy.
