protein shake.

hey everyone, might be a bit of a daft question this but, would you take a protein shake everyday if your trying to cut a bit of body fat but still want to build muscle at the same time. i've got a lean mass protein which has 375 calories every shake and gives 20g protein. i'll be running this with n2slin and yohimflame. or should i just take the protein after training. any advice would be great thanks..
 
375 calories with only 20 grams protein....sounds like a bad deal bro....20 grams of protein is only 80 calories...rest gotta be carbs...
 
Looks like you got sold a gainer marketed as protein powder :) As above, rather save it for bulk and munch on a chicken breast for now
 
Get a whey isolate protein and make sure you're getting at least 1.5 grams per pound of body weight while you're cutting.
 
Gotta shop around. Some sites have even flavorless protein isolates that have pretty much nothing else added so no extra calories. If that what you are looking for.
 
I use MTS Whey from tiger fitness and it's a good protein in my opinion. It's the best tasting protein I've ever had and my shakes come out great with it. Try adding other things in to your shake as well like bananas, honey, oats, PB. I'm "lean bulking" and still have good definition from drinking my shakes like that.

That is a lot of calories and not a lot of protein. I would try some straight whey protein without flavoring or additives.
 
Whoa....that's alot of calories for 20g. Are you trying to gain weight? I might be misunderstanding your post. Try an isopure zero carb....160 calories and 40g of protein. And yessssss weather cutting or bulking. ...you need protein and a lot of it. If your not used to high protein maybe just start with 1 gram per pound of body weight. ..then up it to 1.5. Just my thoughts

Those are horrible macros for a protein shake, you should be getting at least 60g of protein for that many calories bro. Try something else like isolation or bovine serum.
