Snoring? ?

Currently on my first cycle, about 6 weeks in. 500 test e per week. 41 M, about 15 bf I estimate. Will get bloods done in about 2 weeks. Have gained about five pounds, not all lean muscle for sure, but strength definitely going up after stalling out after around 3 years of prior lifting.

Has anyone ever heard of snoring as a side effect? I know this is an irregular question. Couldn't find any such info, so I'm basically just confirming that the increased volume of my snoring is coincidence.

Thanks in advance.

It happens, its normally caused by the added weight and your age doesn't help. I snore like a chain saw LOL being 280 is the cause if I were to loose 60lbs it would go a way. Cardio can also help so your not laboring to breath in a rested state.

As I've gotten older, I've started snoring more but I don't think it's from gear

I would assume you are sleeping on your back? If you can train yourself to sleep on your side, it should subside. I suggest left side. Sleeping on your left side opens your airways, and an added bonus...it relieves heartburn due to the way the organs sit with the stomach. It took me a couple months to get used to it, but now it's pretty natural. peace

Yep I snore pretty good and loud when I am a 10-20 lbs over what is my in shape weight. Keep up on that diet and cardio !

Lay on your left side and position the core of your body in a more elevated stated on your side using your pillow, maybe a 30 degree incline and make sure your neck isnt kinked in any way, that should reduce the chances of you snoring SIGNIFICANTLY!

It sounds like your weight is right on the threshold of where you start to snore. I'm the same way, if I pick up a few too many pounds I start snoring badly.

What others have said about making sure you sleep on your side helps. Another thing that I didn't see mentioned is Breathe-Rite strips. They're cheap enough and can be the difference between me snoring and not snoring.

Might be worth it to give them a try.

are you over weight I would try zyppah lol

Ha, thanks Steve. Yeah, we're both miserable. Since general consensus is that it's not test related, I'm looking into cpap and or surgery. Whatever works.

Forgot to mention stats.. 5'11" 225 pounds. Not overweight. Would love to have a six pack someday.. Currently a two pack and some slight love handles. Best shape of my life after just three years of concentrated effort. May look into some supplementation for assisted weight loss someday.

My snoring and in my case also sleep apnea is directly related to my weight. When my weight is down I have no issues. When my weight is up my snring is worse and my sleep apnea starts and I have to use my breathing machine

I'm 230-235lb. fluctuates. I can be dreaming and my body signals "Drake, you're not breathing!" I then wake up and gasp for air! I had this since the service, maybe it was the water, and now since your reply I must inform my doctor because I don't want to die in my sleep, especially during a road trip the I usually take and end up dying in some hotel/motel room miles from home I wonder do they make a sensor for such an affliction? HM? !

I wouldn't say steroids causes snoring, but weight gain sure will. Have that problem if I gain weight to fast when bulking! ....it will subside when I lean out!!!

My wife booted me to the couch. Only started happening once I broke the 210 mark. Under that i am fine. We'll see what happens when I start my cut in a few months.....

I think it's likely weight related. Funny how it's so sudden. I was fine at 210.. But my wife hates me at 225. She likes the extra lats though....
