I dont see the point in running 4-500mg o test for 8 weeks. Shouldn't you up the does every 2-3 weeks because like with anything the body gets used to it

The Whole Point of a Cycle is "Stable Hormone Levels".
This is when you make Optimum use of your AAS.

To either Go Up or Go Down in dosage, will throw off this mechanism.......................................... JP
P.S.
And an 8 Week Cycle would only be of any use with a Short Ester Test.
And even then I would bump it up to a 10 Week minimum.
P.S.S.
Research "Pharmacokinetics", this is a Sub-Branch of Pharmacology having to do with the Processes of Absorption/Distribution/Metabolism/and Elimination of Drugs within the Body.
Here's a Copy of 1 Paragraph on the Topic.

Pharmacology is the area of science concerned with drugs and their exerted effect on biological systems. Pharmacokinetics, a sub-branch of pharmacology,
is the study of the processes of absorption, distribution, metabolism and elimination of drugs within the body.
Collectively, these four components are termed disposition. Steroids can display differing pharmacokinetic characteristics depending on their structure,
which in turn determines their behavior (and therefore concentration) in the blood. It therefore stands to reason that in order to design an effective steroid cycle,
one must have a sound understanding of steroid pharmacokinetics.

In this discussion, we will focus on the area of absorption, since this has the greatest impact on steroid cycle design. Furthermore,
since cycle design is predominantly influenced by the injectable components of a cycle, the bulk of this discussion will be concerned with intramuscular routes of steroid administration.

Some very advanced users do that, or add in other compounds as a long cycle goes, or even an oral as a "finisher" near the end of the cycle. But the vast majority of people will not need to do that, your body doesn't adapt that quickly and please realize at 500mg, your test is about 500% more than you what you would naturally produce, so if even if you do adapt a bit you will barely notice. Now as you do more cycles, a long term tolerance does develop, but that is a different issue.

Not at all. The body wants homeostasis. It doesn't like constant changes. Pretty much every hormone in the body has feedback loops associated with it to keep it in a very small range.

A great example is blood PH. It is maintained at a PH of 7.35-7.45 no matter if you eat acidic foods or basic foods.

Building muscle is a slow process. I really don't see any need to go past 500mg/week of testosterone.

long estered testosterone have long half lives attached to them which insure they are in your system a while .. so front loading and then backloading hormones is silly. instead you can kickstart a cycle with an oral the first few weeks.

also consider myostatin. so even if you up your dose you will not continue to grow .. if that was the case everyone who has ran steroids a lot would be 500 pounds by now

I would disagree with this. Such hormone rollercoaster is a one way ticket to gyno town

Besides, starting from a certain dosage of steroids, they stop giving any additional benefits, so it would be plain pointless to keep increasing the dosages, since the body would not be able to do anything with it. After all, no matter how wonderful our bodies are, they have their limits.
