Ok so my first cycle a couple years ago I was feeling lethargic and reached out to you guys and a bunch of people suggested maybe test flu.
Well I'll tell you it was not test flu because I just had test flu and man does it suck!
I was on day 10 of my cycle which is 150mg test prop EOD (plus I also added a bit of test cyp to it to make up for my 'normal' 200mg cruise dose). Yesterday after training I was just wiped and felt like shit. I didn't eat well yesterday mostly due to being up almost all night before because of some neighbourhood drama and thought maybe I was just hungry. Got home and started eating but quickly felt nauseous so had to stop. Started to feel feverish so I climbed into bed. if I moved at all it felt like I was gonna puke. Every muscle, bone and joint ached. After a couple hours the fever subsided enough for me to crawl out and grab my phone and start trying to figure out what was going on.
I was in and out of sleep and had the wildest dreams (fever dreams) but couldn't get comfortable coz if I moved it felt like I was gonna hurl and was not looking forward to shivering on my way to the toilet to try to make it there.
Eventually I did puke and started to feel better.
This morning, all is good.
It was textbook test flu - got it about 24 hours after a pin, lasted a bit over 12. Felt just like the flu. My total dose of test is pretty high (about 750/wk).
So there you have it - if you are wondering if you have test flu, you probably don't. It can also start mid cycle - not just at the beginning.
I think I'll stock up on vitamin C just in case it happens again. Thankfully I got through my workout yesterday and I feel good enough to hit it again today so no harm done lol. I'm thinking maybe lack of sleep may have made it worse. I hope coz I really don't want to go through that again if I can avoid it.
