Due to some issues with my log title I’ve had to make another thread.

I’d like to introduce you all to my log. I’ve been tracking my cut over on the UGLOZ forums for the past 12 weeks and thought it was time to share it here with you all 💪🏻.

I’ve got about 3 weeks left. I started at 107.8 kg and have dropped just over 15 kg so far.

Up until 2 weeks ago, I was running this cut without a coach, mainly because I wasn’t sure how I’d balance training with the birth of my first child. Now that things have settled down, I’m back working with a new coach and couldn’t be happier with the results.

I’ve been training for around 7 years, with the last 2 years on gear.

My main goals with logging here are to keep myself accountable, learn from you all, and continue improving. Down the track, I’d love to compete once I feel I’ve built the right physique.

I’m also excited to announce a sponsorship with Sassy’s Pharmaceuticals. They’ll be supplying most of the AAS I’ll be using for this cut and my upcoming growth phase. I’ve run their products plenty of times and have been consistently impressed with the results and quality.

I’ve got about 3 weeks left. I started at 107.8 kg and have dropped just over 15 kg so far.

Up until 2 weeks ago, I was running this cut without a coach, mainly because I wasn’t sure how I’d balance training with the birth of my first child. Now that things have settled down, I’m back working with a new coach and couldn’t be happier with the results.

I’ve been training for around 7 years, with the last 2 years on gear.

My main goals with logging here are to keep myself accountable, learn from you all, and continue improving. Down the track, I’d love to compete once I feel I’ve built the right physique.

I’m also excited to announce a sponsorship with Sassy’s Pharmaceuticals. They’ll be supplying most of the AAS I’ll be using for this cut and my upcoming growth phase. I’ve run their products plenty of times and have been consistently impressed with the results and quality.

Thanks brother, I think a bit of brain fog was settling in when I made the original post. I think it’s more around the 15-16 weeks that I’ve been cutting. Coach said I’ve only got a couple of weeks left (thank fuck) till we decide what we’re gonna do next 💪🏻

Just had my check-in with the coach and happy to say I’ve only got two weeks left on this cut.


I’ve been running around 2800 calories the whole way through, and we’ve just added in a high day — an extra 1000 calories, mostly carbs — on my hardest training day of the week.

I’ll be uploading some meal photos, training updates and of course some gear photos when it lands.

Sitting at 89kg this close to the end of the cut is solid work, holding on at 2800 cals and only now pulling in a high day shows you’ve been in a good groove. That 1000 carb bump on the hardest training day is going to give you a full look and push performance up right when you need it. Two weeks left, keep it sharp and the finish will show in the photos. Even now your pics you're ripped to the bone :D

Had a high-carb day yesterday with an extra 1,000 calories 🥰 The pump was insane, and my energy levels bounced back fast — exactly what I needed for leg day 😂

3x Bagels w/strawberry jam, bringing my total macros to -
Calories - 3750
Protein - 255
Carbs - 537
Fats - 49

Water intake was increased from 4.5L - 5.5L minimum on the higher carb day.

Finished off the session with 15 minutes of the seated bike - average bpm was 135 and then about 40 minutes on the treadmill to bring my step count up to 10,000 for the day.

that refeed hit perfect, carbs over 500 with clean choices like the bagels explains the pump and energy rebound. macros lined up well too, protein stayed high and fats nice and low so it was all about filling out glycogen. water bump to 5.5l was smart, keeps everything moving and avoids spill. cardio after legs was a good balance, bike plus treadmill kept steps in without overdoing it. :D

that’s exactly how it should feel, carbs topped off without the spill and water pushing it through the muscle instead of sitting under the skin. legs running smooth shows the fuel went to the right place and you kept recovery in check. keep that same setup rolling and you’ll stay full while leaning out. :D

Solid high day on the carbs brother. Funny i used to be scared of carbs at the start of my journey and just thought i shouldnt have them when trying to lose fat lol. Time goes by i learned how to utilise them better and to my advantage, now i can crank them stay full and powered through workouts and still strip plenty fat🔥

Appreciate it brother 🙏 100% agree — I used to be the same way with carbs, always thought cutting them was the only way to get lean. Once I started using them properly, the difference in performance, fullness, and recovery was night and day. Makes the whole process way more sustainable too 🔥

Due to some issues with my log title I’ve had to make another thread.

I’d like to introduce you all to my log. I’ve been tracking my cut over on the UGLOZ forums for the past 12 weeks and thought it was time to share it here with you all 💪🏻.

I’ve got about 3 weeks left. I started at 107.8 kg and have dropped just over 15 kg so far.

Up until 2 weeks ago, I was running this cut without a coach, mainly because I wasn’t sure how I’d balance training with the birth of my first child. Now that things have settled down, I’m back working with a new coach and couldn’t be happier with the results.

I’ve been training for around 7 years, with the last 2 years on gear.

My main goals with logging here are to keep myself accountable, learn from you all, and continue improving. Down the track, I’d love to compete once I feel I’ve built the right physique.

I’m also excited to announce a sponsorship with Sassy’s Pharmaceuticals. They’ll be supplying most of the AAS I’ll be using for this cut and my upcoming growth phase. I’ve run their products plenty of times and have been consistently impressed with the results and quality.

Really looking forward to sharing my progress here on Evo — I’ve heard nothing but great things about this community.

Protein looks a bit low for the normal day at 223 g, bumping that closer to 250 g daily would support growth and recovery better, especially with your training load. High day numbers look solid, carbs are where they should be, just make sure protein doesn’t dip too far under on the regular days. :D

Got my check-in feedback today and the coach has decided to extend the cut for another two weeks — so my hopes of finishing up this Friday are officially out the window 🥲


On a brighter note, I’ve been given an additional high-carb day (now two total) to help manage fatigue and boost energy levels.


Photos are from today’s session — chest, triceps, and a bit of abs to finish off.


Cardio was 15 minutes on the seated bike (average BPM 140), plus around 20 minutes on the treadmill to hit my minimum of 9,000 steps for the day.


Mood was pretty average when I first got the news about the extension, but it definitely picked up once I got some food in me 🎉

I’ve never been this lean in my life, or even tried to get this lean before. Some days I just want to throw in the towel and smash a big fat burger, but I’m hanging in there somehow 🤣. It’s a battle, but days like today make it all worth it when you catch yourself in the mirror 💪🏻

You look super lean and shredded in those pics, abs are popping hard and the extra carb day will only make you look fuller while keeping lines sharp. 2 more weeks isn’t a bad thing, you’re already in striking shape and this will just tighten you up further so stage condition is undeniable! :D @Tomza

Breakfast looks perfect, plenty of carbs to fuel the session and 43g protein in the mix keeps it balanced. Leg day holding strength is a good sign, and finishing with 15 mins on the bike at 137 bpm keeps conditioning ticking along without killing recovery. :D

Strength has dipped slightly, but that’s to be expected at this stage. Still managing to hold onto more than I thought I would, so can’t complain. Pushing through and getting it done 👊
Strength dipping a bit is normal but the fact you’re still holding more than expected shows your base is solid. Getting through leg day when energy isn’t perfect still keeps the muscle stimulated, and that’s what carries you through the tougher stages. :D
