Thigh injections

Anybody prefer thigh injections over glutes? I have never pinned in the thigh but I am considering. Much easier to reach then the glute
 
when I do myself ..thighs... I can see what I am doing..when someone else does it for me I prefer glutes.
 
I do both the Top and Side of the Quads.
I use only a 25 gauge x 5/8" Syringe, Barrel will vary between either a 1 CC or a 3 CC................................... JP

Really? that small of a syringe? I was going to use 22 gauge and 1.5 inch but not sink it all maybe about 1 inch

It's Easy, I just Bury the Needle into my Thigh.
Don't have to try to Hover.......................................... JP

It hardly Bleeds at all, cause I'm not Moving the Needle In and Out, trying to keep it Steady.

sounds good. DO you think I can use my 22 gauge or will it be too big?

It depends on How Big your Thighs are.
I don't Object to the 22 Gauge, it's the 1 1/2" Needle you need to be careful with.
Don't Push it in Real Fast, take your time, and then give it a little light Massage to Disperse the Oil....................................... JP
P.S.
Don't stick the Entire Needle into your Thigh, no more than 1" should be plenty.
 
Delts is my area of choice. I pin 3cc's in each three times a week

I just don't like to do a Big Shot cause I sleep on my Shoulders these Days................................. JP

Yeah I have no interest in pinning my delts. I have only ever done glutes so far but thinking about trying thighs soon. ANy specific area on the outside of thigh?
 
Too much pain and angst doing thighs. I did my first ventrogluteal injection. Didn't feel a thingy and easy to reach. So glutes, VG, delts are my rotation now.
 
That's why I want to try them. It is right there without having to twist your body to reach. Do you go 1 inch or 1 and 1/2 inch deep in the thigh?

It really depends on how muscle/fat you have. I have pretty muscular legs and no so much fat, so the muscle is right there, so 1/2 inch works fine for me, 23G or 25G.
 
I prefer thighs to other spots, simply based on body position while pinning (it's easy to sit comfortably, and no twisting or stretching required). I use a 23ga 1" needle and sink it all the way in.
 
Also push the needle in very slow, this way you will notice if you're hitting a nerve, which is fine as long as you continue slowly in my experience. The thing is if you hit a nerve when pushing the needle in fast, you can get a quite violent reaction.
 
I love to pin quads or vg because I'm able to load 4-6cc's in those areas. I normally hit the top and sides on quads. Delts probably be my 3rd favorite spot. No matter where I'm pinning I push it in slow to give it a chance to spread out and hopefully keep it from rising back to the surface leaving a bump or knot.

For the Outer Thigh.
Roughly, from the Knee, come up 2/3 rds the distance to the Hip - that's 1 Point.
Now move Downward Half-Way between the Top of the Thigh, and where the Biceps Femurous is....................................... JP

Yeah. Don't do prop or sustanon though if you haven't pinned before cause it CAN end up pretty bad with PIP if you don't get a good pin. But don't let that scare you I don't get it ever anymore. It's a fresh flesh thing

^^^^^^^ very good point. I kinda forgot way back when I 1st pinned sust. It was the 1st type of test I choose to pin. My damn leg was sore for at least 2wks after. It was rough just to walk on it.
 
I usually do 25 mostly in thigh...Just easier to pull back to see if there is blood....go with one inch if you can get them unless your a fat ass the 1 in a half inch IMO....

I've had too many bad experiences with quad shots- best one that comes to mind is I got the needle in fine nice and slow, no problem, aspirated-no prob, began injecting and my quad had a severe uncontrollable spasm with 1 inch of steel in it. Had some nasty pip after that. Guess the needle was just barely not touching a nerve but the oil got hit the nerve and my quad freaked out. Now I rotate VG, glutes, and delts.
 
Glutes are my favorite by far, every time I pin my quads the muscles twitch!!! Freaks me out. Not a fan of felt injections!
 
what size are people typically using for VG -- never pinned there before, but thinking of moving that into the rotation.

Were you laying down with the quad perpendicular to the floor with the quad fully relaxed? If the muscle is at all flexed you might get the spasm

I don't mind pinning quads at all it's all I use to pin when I first started cycling ha. There great when injecting a large volume of oil. I hate pinning glutes no control I can barely reach.

I was sitting with my thigh at a 45°angle to the floor. I wasn't flexing it, but I've also tried with my thigh parallel with my knee at a 90° and at 180° resting on the bed or couch, fully relaxed. I only did my VG on my side (now do it sitting) so I mat try my quads while resting on my side.

I just cringed at the thought of a calf injection! Ouch!

I had a guy who was super overweight and picking up his test script ask the pharmacist if he could inject in the calves because he's a drummer and needs his thighs to not be sore... I couldn't believe what I was hearing... neither could the pharmacist. This guy was either trolling or just plain ignorant. A drummer injecting into his calf? He'd never be able to perform. Calves are one place I would absolutely never inject... ugh... makes me shudder.
 
I seen people do.chest and biceps...i stick to legs and glutes. I tried shoulders a few times...never seem to get it right
 
I love doing quads. You get more needle control than anywhere else.

Great point. What do you do if you have to pin 3x or more per week?

I use 1"x25G. Works like a charm. I hang around 10%bf so I don't have much fat to go through. I've heard of (never done it myself) guys injecting up to 5mL in there. It's a real deep muscle and is totally painless.

Thanks.. I have 23 1.5" and 25 5/8".. I'm assuming the 25 5/8" isn't quite long enough for the area, despite me also being in that 10% range.
 
I hit an artery last night and had a nice stream of blood coming out of my leg, second time. I'm thinking quads suck now for pinning. I'm going deltoids from now on, can't feel a thing. Leg is sore now and not like PIP its like I bruised it but no bruise.

Quads suck, the electric shock I get is no bueno. Delts is the way to go for sure,I pin them three times a week up to 3cc's each pin and no problems ever

Thighs are easier than glutes. I use a 25g 1". The 22 are doable but unnecessary. Biggest issue is if you end up with pip you end up limping for a day or 2. Other than that they are great. Delts are another easy spot to hit.
 
I have been doing thigh injections so far since starting TEST E three weeks ago at a low dose. I have done three injections so far and all three felt the same. Some pain for a day and a half but I just work through it. I figure it is part of the game so fuck it. It hurts to bend the leg but loosens up as I warm up.
