why bother with prohormones when anabolics do the same thing and are probably healthier
Ultradrol wasn't a prohormone, it was an AAS. Just like superdrol. Or dbol. Or anadrol.

To OP, I believe what SDR1014 and BAD JUJU are trying to get across is that most prohormone/OTC-not yet banned AAS compounds are far more damaging and less effective than some of the staple AAS such as Dbol and Test. There is of course legality issue for most, depending on what country one hails from. But from medical point of view, I am in agreement that most AAS are far safer than some of these "prohormones" currently available over counter and out of backs of magazines.
