Which cycle is better (hypothetical)

Hey guys completely hypothetically questions someone who is 5'9 170lbs and 12% bodyfat. Which cycle would build more muscle
CYCLE 1
Test e 250mg 12 weeks
Anavar 40mg 6 weeks

Cycle 2
Test e 250mg 12 weeks
Mast e 450mg 12 weeks

I'm just weird and like to talk/ discuss/compare different cycles.
 
unlikely you build very much actual muscle tissue in 12 weeks either way. it takes years to build quality muscle tissue, people get confused on steroids cause they retain water in the muscle but that is just water retention filling the muscle, not tissue
 
How about 750 test e, 600 tren e, 600mg deca, 40mg dbol and 100mg anadrol?

There are two issues at play here. Throwing more drugs in the mix doesn't work. Ask the guys that think it does their stats.

Then, as always genetics, it ignores time and kick ass training.

you cannot build MUSCLE TISSUE in 12 weeks I don't care how much steroids you use. not even rats in cages given 10X more steroids and on a controlled diet won't accomplish that. water in the muscle that gives you that full look on steroids is not actual muscle tissue.

boy would it be nice if you could though. all the vets on here would be 450 pounds ripped with all those cycles we have ran.

Sad thing is someone has probably run that as thats what they heard the "Pro's" run.

It really comes down to how much are you willing to risk your health to get massive.

Honestly IMO anything much more than 500mg/week of Test is too much. You are better to add other compounds. Some guys easily run 1G+ of test and it works but who knows the health impacts running those levels of gear.

Tren really shouldnt be run much over 400mg/week. Yes guys will run more and yes people will say it works and im sure it does but again risk/reward.

Deca, EQ, Primo all are effective in the 400-600mg/week range.

Dbol at 40mg/day is fine for 4-6 weeks, Anadrol at 100mg/day is a lot and most people wont last more than 4 weeks due to the sides.

Again its all relative.

To the original question I mean either would work. The test could be a little higher and you could increase the VAR dose a little. As others have stated its not going to be a mass stack for sure. Would help though keep a lean dry physique if already low bodyfat.

I'll tell you what, let OP run either of those stacks with a log and we will wait post pct and see if this guy adds any weight. My bet and I believe it to be a safe one, is no. And if he's on trt, maybe 5lbs but that's if is on top of his macros. If someone in Gym comes up and ask me about either of those stacks. I would tell he could do that same significant weight gain with diet alone

No agreed I wouldnt expect any real weight change all things being the same.

The thing is I typically try not to gain any weight or minimal weight on any cycle. I mainly focus on my body composition. Thats just me though im not a hard gainer im around 6'9" 260 pounds so I try to just alter my body composition and keep weight the same.
 
There is no easy or cheap way to measure true lean muscle tissue. Muscle is anywhere from 55-75% water anyways so it's pointless to argue over how much lean muscle is actually increased during a cycle. If you keep your body fat at around 10% or less you are likely doing things correctly and not being overly water logged on your cycle.
