I every now and then people saying that some steroids are painful, and others are not, but I have not seen any exact data on this. Why are some steroids more painful than others, and is there a list of steroids to avoid becayse of this?
Certain steroids are more likely to cause post injection pain then others. There is no real rhyme or reason to it, it's just the nature of the steroid.
Generally speaking, steroids with short esters or highly concentrated steriods cause the most PIP. Some of the worst steroids for causing PIP are:
Test prop/suspension
Tren ace
T400
Primo ace
Injectable winstrol/dbol

I would say that it also depends a lot on the lab in which they made it, the carrier oils, and the individual who is injecting it
Ive been using Anabolic solutions Test 400 and the pip is quite bad for a good 3-5 days its 200mg Test Enanthate 100mg Test Decanoate 100mg Test Cypionate 2% Benzyl Alcohol (usp) 20% Benzyl Benzoate (usp) 5% Ethyl Oleate (usp) & Grapeseed oil im having good gains but i defo will not be using anything with the EO in again its enough to put you off pinning never had this with sus n decca back im the day so this gear was a shock to the system like sitting on wasps for a week defo g2g if you like that sort of thing live and learn i supose. 2 shots left and im getting something smoother, so answer to your question as jay said could be oils and everyone reacts different to foreign subs pluss if its virgin muscle or pinning to quick, my prob is defo the oleare ruff as f%*k!!!

Usually, the short esters like the propionate and acetate are notorious for being painful, no matter the compound they are attached to. However, this is not always the case, and a lot will depend on the particular brand and product quality, so it is very hard to outline a particular steroid that will cause bad PIP.

EO can be a Real Bitch for a lot of users, myself included.
So if you're getting any High Concentrations, make sure that EO isn't part of the Solution.
Any Suspension in Water will also cause alot of PIP.
So Test or Winny Suspension.
I've done alot of Tren Ace with No PIP, but Tren Cough is prevalent with most Tren Ace.
Test Prop is another Compound that I've Personally Never had an Issue with, it depends on the Manufacturer.
I've done an Esterless Mix of Test/Winny/Tren.
It has PIP, but I could Walk it off in about 20 Minutes.
I wouldn't recommend it for any Novice to AAS.......................................... JP
P.S.
I also Home-brewed some Test Ace @ 150 Mg/Ml, and it's as smooth as Silk.
Again, it depends on the Manufacturer.

A major factor is the quality of the lab. Besides that it is typically high concentrations and short esters.
bro test prop is hella painful....
