You'll see from my replies on similar threads I've asked for the logic... never get a reply. I'll ask for photos of their Olympian physiques and I don't get any.
The problem is quite simple:
1) They LIKE HOW THEY FEEL ON
2) They wont admit they're wrong
3) They're already a BIT fucked so a BIT MORE fucked makes little difference
4) They're usually young. Three years later they come back posting about 'restarting their HPTA's' and 'wanting kids', admitting 'they fucked up'.
5) They're scared to come off 'in case I lose all my 'gainz''.
It's kinda pathetic. Part of the skewed logic comes from seeing just how fkin freaky and monsterous some top pros are. Take my first seminar - Tom Platz. Short really and only a little muscular dressed. But when he dropped his training baggies and hit the thigh shot - fkin BOOM! Hairs on the back on the neck and 500 nutters, inc me, going WTF!!??
Heck, even I have had guys come up to me when I've worked at Expos and take photos with me. One guys son embarrassed him a little by saying 'my dad watches your videos in his shed before working out'. Dad got all red faced ha ha. In another example one guy posted saying 'I'll never be as strong as you' and I (not too nicely) replied 'not with that attitude. All in all that's part of the mentality of guys on so-called (it so rarely is) TRT or 'blasting and cruising'. It's tied with how they feel without - like losing a comfort blanket - vs actual NEED. We've two mods on actual TRT. The rest of us cycle on and off as needed. I do ONE 10 week or so cycle a year. That's it.
