Worst supplements ever

Out of all the supplements you have ever taken – what was the worst supplement you had? Why did not you like it? For me, it was a protein product from one MLM company from eastern europe – the worst protein ever! Did not mix in anything, sticked to the teeth, bad taste....nothing good about it.

Wow ~ without a doubt ~ it was a Predigested Liquid Protein in the early 70's.
Before this, there were only Amino's.

This was the absolute worst tasting shit, I've ever had the Displeasure of putting in my mouth.
Think ~ Liquid Chalk with a Sickening Sweet Aftertaste................................ JP

pretty much everything i bought throughout the 2000's from GNC or from my gym etc.

all those supplements didn't do shit except drain my wallet. one thing you need to learn that it is important to actually read ingredients in supplements and know what you are putting in your body.. otherwise what is the point?

Pretty much any of those NO booster type supplements. Back when I was younger, I would try any supplement that had a fancy label and cool sounding name. I spent a lot of money on those pre workout, vein enhancing NO booster type of products that I noticed nothing from what so ever. Absolute waste of money.

Another one is a weight gainer. Tasted like chalk and it contained nothing more then sugar. I ended up giving it away it was so bad.

For me, it was a creatine produced in Easter Europe - it did not mix with any liquid, tasted like chalk, and felt in the mouth like sand because it did not get dissolved there. The only time I did not take Ancient Strength creatine I paid so dearly for that.

The irony in the name alone... lol

About 5 years ago when I was just starting to get into working out I went to the local GNC and got a 'gold card' and bought whatever was the new flavor of the month for products. I can't remember the name but this one particular BCAA was the worst thing ever, it was like talcum powder fine and would not dissolve into the water, But it would bubble up and the fine partials would float in the surface of the bubbles.

Ugh, I had to quaff that down with my nose held and eyes closed, and with some juice close at hand to wash the horrid taste away.

This is why it is so important not to go cheap on supplements, and you should get your supplements from a trusted company. Make sure to pay attention to the ingredient list, and the recommendations by other people. Every since I have switched to N2BM supplements, I did not think even once of looking for another brand every since. I especially like the whey isolate with the Colombian Espresso flavor - tastes like authentic coffee.
