Approved Log Road back to Powerlifting 2025 Cycle Log

Good afternoon Evo Fam,
Still cooling my heels in hospital, but with plenty of time on my hands I have been thinking about cycle when I am back to full health. Which will happen.
I now have a serious question about this:
The cycle I was 3 weeks into (and had to cease), was:
Test E 525mg per week
Deca 245mg per week
Eq. 210mg per week
The question is,
With Deca retaining water in the body and if my body struggles to rid myself of this (today it does but might not soon), should I ditch Deca entirely or half the dose so I get the joint benefit and double the Eq instead?
Happy to provide any clarifications as well to assist with a response. Thanks brothers and sisters in advance.

I think if you want to come back into it, you should really only use testosterone and hgh to come back, and you're not cold turkey now right? you no test at least? @Kopite67

I am, nothing since last Sunday. Bit hard to do in a secure, 24/7 monitored ward. Probably nothing till mid week at the earliest.

You dont want to go cold turkey, go at least 100mgs test/week self tRT after you out.

We will sort this tomorrow. I figured it was more detrimental to not do it that get it back on track. Not out of my system yet so it's all good.
sounds good :D

Hi Evo Fam. Since my last log things have changed quite a bit.
The whole saga is this:
On Monday I went to my GP about hayfever and getting possible asthma medication to sort out my lack of air coming in. After 30 sec of examination he told me I probably have pneumonia and I need to go the hospital to get tested properly. A shock, but we went as directed.
Once I got in to the ED, they took an x-ray and found it was both lungs and extensive, plus my Heart rate and BP were really shit too.
I was admitted and the following day the Coronary Care team paid me a visit, did an echo test and told me I have Arterial Fibrillation, that has been there for a long time, and the infection and pneumonia was now making it a major issue.
So then I was transferred to the Coronary Care Unit, which I am now logging from (day 3 here).
So now what???
I am still not sure what the next steps are, I will be here till everything calms down.
I will keep my Road back to Powerlifting 2025 log going until I leave here. Then a new log and a whole new journey. And what a journey that will be.
In this somewhat retrospective moment I find myself thinking how did I not see this coming, when all the signs were there. Peds had nothing to do with any of this, by the way, if anything they may have saved me by increasing my strength.
Anyway, mostly for my own sanity I will log each day on how this goes until I am discharged.
So my current cycle, peds, supps, training is:
Cycle: nil
Peds: nil
Supps: nil
Meds: about 12 I think.
Training: attempting to stand for more than a minute.
Obviously there are a couple of pics. Food log will be fun.
The journey will continue Evo Fam, just taking a different road now. 💚
Sucks when you get sick bro. Get rest

Hi Evo Fam,
This is the 2nd last post of this log as it has well and truly ended now.
The procedures haven't taken and so other med changes are now in train to get things hopefully on track.
TRT was resumed yesterday at 175mg pw and I do feel much better having this resume on all fronts. A help and no where near a hindrance in this battle.
Hopefully I can return home in the next couple of days.
Tomorrow I will finalise this log with reflection and consideration and it will be a very necessary closure.
In 2-3 days the new log begins and this will quite a ride. Unlike the plethora of studies that exist on high end PED use and its dangers to cardiovascular health, little to nothing is known about low level peds and how it interacts this way.
I intend to explore this. The little evidence that exists is inconclusive and scant at best so over the next 12 months I will document it all. The good, the not so good, the physical interactions and hopefully the benefits.
Isn't science fun 😁. Now for a title 🤔...........

good move getting back on trt at 175mg, that steadiness will help you feel normal again while everything else gets worked out. you can already feel the difference so it’s clear it’s more of a support than a hindrance in your situation. closing this log properly tomorrow will give you that mental reset before the next chapter starts.
the idea for the new log is strong, documenting low level ped interaction with cardiovascular health is something barely anyone has done. it’ll be useful not just for you but for anyone following along since real world data is scarce. ride it out over the next 12 months and you’ll build a solid picture. science is fun when you make it practical like this. @Kopite67 :D
New title: TRT recovery Log

Hi Evo Fam.
And so my Road back to Powerlifting 2025 log comes to an end and it not exactly the way I envisaged it.
When I started this log it was something new and quite different to anything I had previously done.
I was new to gear and was just moving from TRT to my first cycle. It was fun, different and a real new journey.
Unfortunately in the background a cold or flu I caught in June was starting to wreak havoc on my body. My gains were slow, my fitness was getting worse and something wasn't quite right. Like any good Alpha male I completely dismissed the possibility anything was wrong and ignored things.
4 weeks ago this really started to get worse. I struggled to walk up stairs and in the end couldn't walk 500m on a treadmill without feeling like I was going to die (the irony in that comment is staggering to say the least).
A visit to my GP on Monday 8th September to get better Hayfever treatment ended that afternoon with me finding that I had:
Double Pneumonia, and serious lung infection, Aterial Fibrillation and enough Troponin in my blood tests to suggest I had endured a couple of attacks in the last 48 hours. I was admitted to the Coronary Care Unit and I am still here 9 days later.
All of the heart stuff has been around for years and the Road back will be slow, methodical and careful.
But as one log ends another begins.
I get discharged tomorrow and my new log Trt Recovery log 2025 will begin.
This log will be very different. It will be documenting low level ped interaction with cardiovascular health and is something barely anyone has done.
it’ll be useful for anyone following along since real world data is scarce and maybe it is time it was explored and documented.
So a science journey begins with hopefully some useful insights along the way.
See you all in the new Log Evo Fam 💚

Looking forward to the new log mate.

Think how much you would have been killing it if you weren't sick!

Have they given any idea when you'll be out of hospital?

Hard way to close the log but you showed real strength being honest about what’s going on. Catching everything now and setting up a careful plan means you’re not finished, just moving into a smarter path. The TRT recovery log will be a big help for others too, people will want to follow how you balance health and training from here. EVO family love and support :D @Kopite67

sometimes our bodies don't respond how we want. it happens man. i'm glad you are feeling better. did they tell you what caused the issue in the first place? @Kopite67

It appears it is a long standing heart issue that this time wasn't able to get rid of the fluid due to a serious infection. That caused the Pneumonia. I never go to the Dr so it was never found or addressed. Is getting sorted now though. In a few months I will be the healthiest I have been in decades I believe.

How you heal up fast
