There are people shit have reported single digit e2 from running EQ, and others say that EQ doesn’t lower their e2 at all. It would take testing to get it dialed. I still don’t know what all does what with me. But I trusted levs advice with aromasin dosing and it worked

I have a feeling my doctor is going to lower my TRT down to 150 weekly to reduce my estrogen and my hematocrit and red blood. Before when I was on 140mg every 10 days I would feel bad around day 7. I guess I have in my head I will feel bad again if I go down to the lower amount. I don't want to feel like crap again. Maybe if I pin eod on 150mg a week I won't have as much of a drop off over such a long period and I won't feel bad. It's all trial and error until I find what works best for me. Just throwing out options and discussing them to see what could be options.

I know the ai will work but it was not invented to be a lifetime medication. I have used arimidex to control my estrogen when I was on cycle. I need to figure out what is the least risk lifetime solution to reduce my estrogen, hematocrit and red blood. Just trying to get an idea of possible solutions before I see my doctor on Friday.

It may come down to the AI is the best solution that I decided on. I just got to talk through everything so I can make the best decision on all the best data I can get. Equipoise is definitely something I want to try because of my lifestyle and it helps the cardio side. I have been planning to add it on my next cycle which will be early next year. I also would like to try deca at some point. I also hear other doctors say that the estrogen since we are adding test to the body yeah estrogen is going to go up. If no sides are happening then let the estrogen run high. So much data to work through and figure out what is best for me. The best thing is I can bring stuff here and post about things I hear and get great advice about the good, the bad, and the ugly. Y'all all great help. Lev has always been a huge help to me since I started posting here last year. Outside of here my doc is a great help. I been honest with him about all I do and he has not been judgemental at all just given me good advice on what to do. Obviously he can't condone what I do but if I decide to do, he gives his best advice to take care of myself doing what I am doing. I feel blessed to have a doc like that.

Dropping to 150 mg /week is a mild reduction and shouldn’t crash you if you manage frequency right. EOD or even 3x per week pins will keep serum levels stable and avoid that day 7 dip.

That schedule also helps keep e2 and hematocrit in tighter range since peaks flatten out.
Though aren't you doing some form of self TRT now? @kcates

If you're talking to a TRT doctor about cycles it's a no go.
really in the end it's going to be us adding Ais or bumping eq and moderating test levels to help you get the e2 in order. @kcates
your diet is a big factor, your fats were too high last time but haven't seen updates.
 
Weird thing I have noticed In the gym. I stretch and prime my shoulders everyday because I have anchors in one and arthritis in both. Now the shoulder with anchors in it I can stretch more then my other shoulder. It just seems crazy that my bad shoulder is now my good shoulder as far as stretching. The good shoulder is still stronger by a lot. The bad shoulder use to be less flexible but has improved a lot.

No, I am on prescribed TRT by my doctor at 200mg a week. Last TRT check up he said we will keep an eye on the estrogen and blood and see how it does but we may have to reduce the dose of we can't get it down. Same doctor who suggested me going on tirzepatide/ Mounjaro over 2 years ago to start this whole journey. Then a year ago he tested my test. Levels and I was 158ng/dl on both test a month a part. Then he got me on prescription TRT. He has been managing both since.
 
Update on training for the last 5 days I haven't posted. I haven't done any cardio. Been dragging and no cardio has helped.

Nah. As I've said 2x this week just set new targets and train differently. Like high reps vs low etc

@kcates do 5-10 minutes of high intensity. it won't take long. plus if you are dragging it is done fast

Can u give me examples of high intensity? The dragging part is all day after working out. I think I am to low of carb for my daily activity with work. Like last night I had vegetables, potatoes, and 50 gram chicken breast. Only thing I changed up was adding in more carbs at night and I slept so much better last night. I also ate more carbs by 3 ounces of rice at first meal. The day went by easier. Instead of being dead at work and not wanting to go. I just cruised through the day. I am going to keep the carbs up a little bit for awhile and see if it helps me out. Trial and error until I find what works best for me! Would farmer carries be high intensity?

find a hill or something like that. run up the hill. or just go into your yard and run sprints 1 minute hard, 30 second jog. 1 minute hard. 30 second jog. back and forth. 5-10 minutes and you are done

yeah your right for sure. I been training differently for 2.5 months doing something totally different then my normal. Unilateral work to bring up the weaker sides and imbalances. It's been fun. Now at the end of the program it throws back in the main lifts and I have noticed my bench is stronger for sure. Not sure on Deadlifts or squats cause I need to work up to new targets to really see the strength there for me.

Yeah, I think because of my energy levels I am going to bring back more carbs in see if that helps me. I think the caffeine was compensating or masking not having a lot of carbs in my day. I could just keep on trucking day in and day out. Like I said to Steve, I add in more carbs yesterday and I had a better day and slept better. I will reduce my protein in take at dinner instead of a 100 grams go down to 50. Make sure I get my afternoon protein shake. I will see how that does for me.

What do u think about dropping the test down to like 100-150 and adding in some equipoise. Or do I try keeping my test at 200 and drop in 100 eq to see if that will bring my estrogen down. The other side of this will this raise my red blood and hematocrit since I am already on the high side I don't want that getting worse?

bros Lev gonna give his opinion but let me share my thought IMO. we both similar in age and backgrounds. i like EQ, it very versatile and with your physique i think you will enjoy it as a mild option @kcates

My original plan was to just cruise on my TRT and if blood work was good I would maybe increase my TRT to 250-300. Then next blast I was going to add eq to my testosterone. I was planning on next blast in the new year. How is your estrogen, red blood cells, and hematocrit on the eq? At our age how often do u blast in a year?

I was doing it and I was really gassed. I cut the cardio out and felt a tad better. This is day 2 of increased carbs and I am feeling great. I am going to add back in the cardio on Saturday. Tomorrow I am going to be rushed because I got to make sure I get to the doc on time. Also I got to get to bed on time and start getting up at 4-430 again if I continue to feel good.

@kcates It's not a bad thing. That's the case. This gives your body a chance to catch up. If you just got stronger in a linear fashion, you'd end up injured every time.

try and do your cardio first thing in the morning. this way you get it out of the way. i know its tough but it is well worth it! @kcates

Dropping test to 100-150 mg/week and adding EQ can help lower e2 if you’re aromatizing high.
But I would start do EQ at 100-150 mg/week minimum or you won’t get much effect, and give it 4-6 weeks before we see. Think 1:1.

Yes EQ can raise hematocrit more than test, so if you’re already high you’ll need to get blood donations.

I'm not sure here though you said you talking to TRT doc and if we are doing theory or this is actually a plan @kcates

You can just add some caffeine back nothing wrong with a cup of coffee and get some healthy carbs like yams sweet potatoes oatmeal in there :D you are active at work right @kcates

Yes very active working minimum 6 hours a day 6 days a week. I don't drink coffee. I only drank energy drinks. I can drink unsweet tea. Putting more carbs back in has helped a lot so far where I don't think I will need to add back in any caffeine.

Weighing my options. I already donate blood every 6 weeks and my blood is still high.

I haven't stopped lifting but just stopped powerlifting style of training and how much it drops off when u stop for a couple of months. I know as soon as I start back up I will ramp back up and surpass my last pr's but I am not going to at this time. I am going to do some more hypertrophy training for a while and get some variety of exercises in. I enjoyed the last couple of months doing different programming then the powerlifting programming I been doing. I have really enjoyed the stuff I been doing on my body part focus days. Doing 3 sets of 12 with a drop set of 25 reps. Been pushing that hard. Enjoy the pumps I been getting. It feels different!

I am hearing out everyone and then going to decide what I want to do going forward. I see the doc at 930. I will have a decision probably today or I may have more questions after talking to the doc. We will see later today or this weekend.

Back on the cardio today. Increased carbs yesterday helped for sure. Feeling good. I guess I need more carbs. I had 9 ounces of rice after training and then a protein bar that has carbs in it after dinner.
 
Well after talking to the doc he wants me to go to 2x weekly test and stay at same dose per week of 200mg total and he wants me to use 1mg anastrozole ED. I told him what happen last time I took it brought my levels down to 19 on .5 EOD. Then I was using .25 EOD I was around 50-60. I am going to just use .5mg EOD for now and see how I feel and test my levels in a couple of weeks see how it is doing. I think for me 1mg a day will crash me and I don't feel good low. I like to be a little sensitive for my wife. Lol

I know it happens, you experience it some every deload. I have never had this long of a break to see this kind of drop but only been back hitting it for 3 weeks where I have increased by at least 10 pounds each week. It's all good, going to work on other stuff for awhile. Maybe I will come back to powerlifting or I may not.

Dang, Lol. I forgot! Here it is. I think 80/20 but I cook it all down and drain it all with a strainer in a bowl all the fat before I cool it and bag it. Then I reheat it later and I have to add tallow to the pan to get some grease in the pan so the eggs don't stick.

I tried to tell him it was to much he said see how u feel after 2 weeks and if u need to do go to half. Then go to half Ed. I already know what it will do to me so I am starting with 1/2 EOD and then I am going to do blood work in a couple of weeks on my own and see where I am at. I may need to go to .25 EOD. Then I am going to send it to him and told him see told you! Lol

I mean I am using the test I got from Napsgear. I am just stock piling my prescription. I mean I feel I got a good test level when on my TRT while cruising. I want to figure out how to get my hematocrit down outside of what I am already doing. It just won't go down.

@kcates if your hematocrit and e2 are high at 200mg, even though you donate every six weeks… do you not think your only option is to lower the dose for a while? Maybe you’ll have better luck keeping it down after you get it down. Seems like it’s just going to stay elevated, what more can you do? It’s not like you’re going to suffer acutely from a lower dose of test, right? You won’t enjoy getting a bit weaker for a while, etc, but that’s the way it is and it’s for the better in the end.

This was my after cycle lab check to see how my levels were before we ultimately decided in case there are things I needed to improve before temping up or doing a cycle with EQ. Now I want to improve things before I ramp things up. When I get caught up on my business I want to start n2guard also.

I agree but I was also waiting to talk to the doc and see what he suggested before I made a final decision after getting weigh in from him and everyone here. Majority won with using arimidex. Doc prescribed 1mg a day but I know from experience that is way to high for me. I am doing .5 EOD for now and doing blood work in 2-3 weeks see where it is. Still on the hunt to improve hematocrit. Also increasing my Mounjaro to 12.5 mg/ weekly. Then I am going to only pin my TRT 2 x weekly. That's the decision for now. Sounds like a plan for me now.

I suggest you stay on self TRT 200mgs and lets ramp up after you catch up on your business and head in the game more, this is more a marathon not a sprint :D @kcates

The only thing I was planning to do now until February or March pending good blood work was to just increase my test to 250-300 a week if blood was good. I wasn't planning to do another blast until then. I want to do my next blast with some eq. to try that compound out but I am just chill n for now until further notice. I feel great so not that I need to do anything anyways.

Daily supplements and meds

Meal after training: 6 hamburger patties with cheese and veggies no buns.

Snack 60 gram protein shake with water

Dinner: 1lb of pork loin

Snack some popcorn

staying consistent. Yes the dips in strength are frustrating off cycle stay consistent. If you’re super worried about your Crit. Hemoglobin being high just donate blood. That will lower your volume some lowering your overall numbers. Your livers look great btw. Hang in there💪👍

I donate every 6 weeks already. I donated 2 days before these blood results. My crit is just hanging out around there. Even when I was doing 500 mg a week it was about the same. I am hydrated. I am taking baby aspirin. Not sure what else to do. Going to try and figure it out though.

Moving up to 12.5mg a week of the Mounjaro! Hope I don't get sides. I had 2 pens fail out of the last box. Eli Lily gave me a free new box. The pharmacist said they have been getting a lot of them replacements due to failures lately. Interesting! Today's shot worked though.

Up until 2 week of Aug I was on 7.5. That's when I went to 10mg. It didn't even do anything at 10mg. Felt just like 7 and I was starting to eat junk and felt not a single side. I waited until I saw the doc and discussed it with him and we went up. Hopefully I will feel it again and can cut better now. I have been on the med for over 2 years now. Usually if I get sides I start feeling them next day after the shot.

The issue is the dose, it's your receptor saturation imo @kcates
I would suggest doing a detox fast to clear out receptors and get your ghrelin/lepin back on track, but you would need 2 days off work to do it.

We will see what happens on the 12.5. Once i get to the 15 mg I mean the only option is to drop off and clean out. The thing is its doing its job and my A1c is 4.8. the discussion with the doctor was your diabetes is under control and that is what it is for. He said you don't really need to raise it up but if you want to try and lose some more weight we can . I told him I would like to try and curb the eating some and see if i can drop so more weight. Thats where we are at with it for now.

Up to you, but increasing dosage that high means something is off about your digestion, you don't need a doctor to see that @kcates
 
In my opinion its more of a tolerance issue. After your post i thought about this and how did i get here. I think because i stayed on the 7.5 for over a year even when its effects was not working any longer because i was wanting to eat to gain strength. I think that caused the receptors adapted to what i was doing. Then went to 10mg it was not enough of a jump to feel anything. I look back now after this and if i was to eat to bulk or gain strength I think I will decrease dose down as much as i can to even possible going off. That way I can eat and rely on that i have changed my habits on eating. Also it will give my body a break and allow me to use less of a dose when I go back on. I am on it for diabetes. At 7.5 mg it was doing its job and keeping me non diabetic. Just learning from experience.

Going to pin my test Monday morning and Thursday evening now.

Meal after training:
6 eggs, 12 ounces of beef, and 9 ounces of rice

Snack: 60 gram protein shake

Dinner: 8 ounces of chicken teriyaki

No cardio had to get home for a zoom meeting

Diet:
60 gram protein shake before zoom meeting

Meal after zoom meeting: 6 eggs and a bagel.

Dinner:
12.ounces of ground beef, black beans, cheese, and 3 taco carb control tortillas.

Getting to bed early tonight and get back to my cardio tomorrow.

Good insight there, you’re right that staying long on 7.5mg can build tolerance with GLP drugs like Mounjaro. That's what I was saying in my post as well :D @kcates

If you want it to work, you need to test cutting doses and adding fasting days imo. You have to detox your system.

Update on my feeling exhausted and unmotivated. I feel a lot better now I been on an AI and eating more carbs. I didn't get good sleep last night maybe it was the increase in tirzepatide or also I had a special meeting this morning that kept my mind going out of excitement and nervousness. Either way I still had a good day at work and worked all day no problem. Glad to have my energy back though.
