Approved Log My Cut Cycle Log: Road to 200lbs or less! My first cut ever.

I would like to hear from as many of you as possible on how you guys think I should go about reducing my terzepatide and cutting my food cravings. Since I have started using GH I get way more sweet cravings or glucose cravings on it. Now I am always looking for gummy bears and ice cream. Doesn't help when Easter baskets are around with gummy candy in them. I ce cream I found a substitute which is Greek fat yogurt with 2 protein scoops, honey and a pinch of salt. Regardless of that I am at the top dose of terzepatide and it doesn't stop food cravings any longer. It works great for my diabetes but I bet it would work great for diabetes at 2.5 mg still. So I am going to decrease back down to 2.5- 5 mg. I have cagrilitide and motsc on the way. I am going to dose the cagrilitide starting low to see how it effects me and decrease the terzepatide. The motsc I am going to start at 1mg first thing in the am when I wake. I need that energy when I cut since I don't use caffeine any longer. How should I dose my cagrilitide throw this experiment is my main question? If you want to give dosages for motsc protocol here great but we have a great thread by harleyguy got that already I can go to. I plan to decrease my terzepatide every 2 weeks or so. I am going to have to switch to research terzepatide while I do this because I can only get one dosage amount per month with my prescription. I have already reduced from 15mg a week down to 12.5 mg a week for now. I will stay here for a few weeks and get on the cagrilitide before I got to 10mg. I look forward to all yours suggestions and advice specially since this is a more rare situation to deal with. I may when I get down low enough I may go off the drug for a little a while and let the receptors get. A break. I hear when people come off the antagonist when they go back on they end up using less and not having to increase up like they did previously. Always worth a try if my A1C doesn't go up into the diabetes range. Thanks for reading my long post.
I think this is more a possibility of constantly being around foods that are a temptation it could be affecting you mentally regardless of any drug you take its not a magic bullet brother still have to control with self control to aid along witb the medication to be effective. Have you ever just thought about once a week having fun foods within reason to treat yourself before you go back onto diet and ewrn those fun foods week by week ?

I have never had a structured cheat day. For 1.5 years when the mounjaro kept the food noise away I just ate the same thing day in and day out and didn't cheat. I actually had to force myself to eat just to get the protein in. Now the food noise is back.

Lots of people fall into this trap, the glp1 works for a while then it starts to fade or reduced in how effective it is and people start eating uncontrolled and bad food at that.

I am on it for diabetes which it controls and is not helping with my diet now. I am going to reduce it down to a amount that does its job of keeping my A1C below 5 and keeps glucose in the middle of ranges. I am betting it will work at 2.5mg per week the lowest prescribed dose. Stay at that dose. Then work on my diet. My diet is not bad. I can easily stay at maintenance and not gain weight or lose weight but still get stronger and more muscle. I just haven't been able to master the cut. Also I think my body is craving more nutrients end of day these days as the days get hotter and working out 6 days a week and doing construction 8 hours a day outside/inside in Florida. I am still losing fat slowly. I am finally noticing loose skin on the side of my belly at the waist. Still recomping just trying to find my groove to do the cut. Honestly if I never figure it out and can continue to stay in a recomp I am fine with that. I am truly happy where I am now with way my life and how my body is functioning. I haven't functioned this well since 22 years ago. Which I would have been 28 years old then. My breakfast have been the same for 2.5 years now. Dinners still run a lb of meat and veggies. I think the body is craving carbs end of day maybe because I burn up the 9 ounces of rice from breakfast. Maybe if I add in a little rice at dinner I might not crave the ice cream. Now when I do crave it I have my Greek fat yogurt with protein powder, salt and honey. I have been doing that now for about 3 weeks. I have found a way to cut the ice cream out which I think is a good substitute. I only do that a couple times of week right now. While I cut down the terzepatide I am going to use the cagrilitide see how it goes. I am wondering if the terzepatide is doing appetite suppression more then I realize. I have already reduced from 15 to 12.5mg weekly and haven't felt anything different yet. Once my car gets here I am going back down to 10. Another thought is back down without the car and see if I still don't notice a difference and my eating habits stay consistent. I also am like I just want to try a new pepetide. Lol.

Hmmm that tracks and makes alot of sense because in my own experience evem at 2mg of trizepatide it is very difficult to get all the calories and nutrients in on a daily basis. I can eat one small meal in a 24hr period and be full with no cravings to eat or even think about food, that could be part of the issue for you, working in the hot son for 8hrs then trianing ontop of it 6 days a week plus not enough food can definitely run u ragged man. Have you thought about trying a push pull leg split working out 3 days a week ? It could possibly give u way more recovery time and down time to let the body heal ajd rest while still producing excellent results. The body needs that rest as much as possible especially with a physical job like you have. Ive been able to drop 35.6 lbs since starting Tirzepatide and i do 2 days of full upper body trianing and 1 dedicated leg day with a few days of slow walking cardio for 60 minutes and its been working awesome.

After the last podcast u were on I had a question I wanted to ask you and now I can't remember. I will have to listen to it again see if I remember. I listen while in the gym or work. Then I tell myself msg him later then i forget.

Thanks, I just really enjoy it. It makes me feel accomplished. I like that whatever I get out of it, it was earned. There is no pay to win in the gym. You got to earn everything in there. Even the respect of the other regulars.

I don't do photos much because it's the same stuff over and over. Yesterday was 6 eggs, 12 ounces of ground beef, and 9 ounces of rice. Dinner was left over whole chicken so it was mostly chicken breast and a little dark meat 1lb and peas and carrots. Same supplements. I was going to have my Greek yogurt last night but decided to go to bed instead. I am using 12.5mg of tirzepatide a week right now and 140mg of testosterone cyp a week right now and 50mg of deca for joint feeling good. No HGH right now waiting on more. Feel good. I will try and do a training dump this weekend. Last weekend I had to work straight through it. This weekend I only have to work today. I get tomorrow off. But I have a lot of office work and home chores to get done.

I am not doing any cardio right now. I get enough cardio at work. My biggest thing is being in the zone and not remembering to drink water. It hit 90 degrees yesterday afternoon on the jobsite. It's that time a year again. At least it's not to humid yet but it will when the afternoon storms start.

I do pendelum on leg A as my prime movement and belt squat as my prime leg B movement. Leg B is my favorite leg day doing belt, hack, leg press, leg extension and leg curl in a row.

5x5 is fine but you're looking to cut right? you have to volume up for it :D
 
Well shucks, I was jones for chocolate after work today. So I came home and made my Greek yogurt, protein powder, honey and pinch of salt fake ice cream. It filled the spot. My wife thinks it's gross. Lol. I should have taken a picture of that.

Yesterday was the end of a 8 week block of training. I am going to review it all, make some changes, and start a new 8 week block of training. I have definitely seen some changes in body since I started at the new bodybuilding gym doing body building work. I dropped the weights, really focused on form and time under tension. Squeezing the muscles and getting pumps. Doing the higher reps like I was told months ago on EVO. The only low rep range is my bench press on the strength building day because I am still working to push that bench to 315lbs. The rest is all bodybuilding focus. Then my lowest rep range is 8 reps. Mostly in the 12 rep range. Then burn out stuff goes into the 20 reps. Going to put some stuff back in and that I feel is better instead of doing so much tricep push downs need to get dips and maybe some skull crushers back in there for example. Looking for ward to the next chapter.

I just wanted to get strong and preserve muscle. Because the doctor told me too. Now I am in the 10-12 rep range working just really learning to use and isolate the muscle I am targeting. Get the most out of the exercise instead of just trying to push as much weight as I can. That maybe better explains what I was trying to get across.

My log I should get to talk about what I am interested in, right? We a family here. You hear about my life all the time. I like to know you better. That's what families do they get to know each other. I think I just like being in a recomp. I am in a good space right now. I like growing muscle, everything in life is working great, except I ran out gh for the time being. My best predictor of how things are going is how well I am performing at work after starting my day working out. I been working until 7 pm at night lately when typically I gas out around 5. Work is a major priority. I always lean up naturally in the summer anyways because of my work. I think because all is going so well right now I am going to stay the course.

It worked just did 5x5 program on the app and progressively overloaded. But back then I was just trying to figure it out on my own. Then from that I got into powerlifting programming. Now I am just kinda doing my own thing maybe it's power building or bodybuilding workouts. I don't know it's just fun now.

Then GH a little over a year after that and that changed my sleep and recovery and how much better I function. What will be the next thing? Stay tuned and in a year we will see! I over ordered GH. I have like a year supply coming in now. Not going to let that happen again.
 
Have y'all heard about the new stuff Jay Campbells company has coming out. Pretty cool stuff. There new follinstatin delivery system is having great success so far adding 7-8 pounds of muscle in 8 weeks. If u want to hear about it check out this podcast where he is being interviewed.

I ran out and I am waiting for more gh. I love being on gh. I don't look forward to time off. That shit is amazing at making me feel good, recover and work seems easier to go 8 hours and even more. I haven't felt that good at work in decades.

You got lucky I remembered to take a photo. My wife was like your taking a photo of that stuff, yuck. Lol, I told her yeah I got to put it on my forum. We get distracted in our kitchen end of day. We have an open Floor plan in our house in the common area. So the kitchen opens up to the living room. So we can all talkcook, and watch TV all at the same time. So end of day we are all socializing as a family and I forget about pictures a lot of the time. That's ok

Some of the added in exercises are dips, pull ups, and hammer curls. Still working toward a 315 lb bench PR. Nothing new on the supplement or gear. I am still doing 140 mg TRT until blood work in about 4 weeks. Still doing 50mg deca a week for joint relief and when my HGH gets here I am going to get back on 3 iu daily. I have a little bit of tendinitis going in my left elbow area. It felt better while on gh but now today it's starting to bother me a little more. I have some
Bpc-157 and tb500 coming so I will start that as well for 4-8 weeks. When I get blood work back I will adjust as needed to find that sweet spot for me where blood is good and total T is in a good range. Once I find that good range I will recover there for a few months then run another cycle. That is the game plan for now. Here are my work outs this week for my new block of training. Tomorrow is leg b day and then Sunday I rest.

On my push A day I worked up to 235 x4. I am shooting for 235 x5 this week on push A and then I can. Move up the weight to 240. Back Aug 9th I hit 245 for 5 as my max when I did my mock powerlifting meet. That was not a workout weight. Now I am nearing that as a workout weight. I am excited. I really like strength goals.
 
@stevesmi I have a thought. They are offering yoga at my gym now. Thinking about going. It's not hot yoga but what if I wore a sweat suit while doing it to keep myself hot would that work?
I think you should definitely do it! It’s gonna be pretty hard! And it will take several sessions to be able to relax into the poses and breathe properly and that stuff matters a lot. I think you should definitely do it! It’s gonna be pretty hard! And it will take several sessions to be able to relax into the poses and breathe properly and that stuff matters a lot. Probably should just go in something comfortable in the beginning before heating things up?
 
I am just thinking if it's uncomfortable to start with by adding more uncomfortableness to begin with may make me not want to come back. Lol
There you go. It’s definitely going to be uncomfortable. Especially don’t you have a bunch of metal holding you together? Hahaha. I think it’s ok, you’ll have to adapt to some of it. But embrace the suck! It’s worth it! After a month you’ll feel totally different

I got 6 anchors in my shoulder but I stretch that thing daily
 
On my push A day I worked up to 235 x4. I am shooting for 235 x5 this week on push A and then I can. Move up the weight to 240. Back Aug 9th I hit 245 for 5 as my max when I did my mock powerlifting meet. That was not a workout weight. Now I am nearing that as a workout weight. I am excited. I really like strength goals.

I started a new 8 week block of training this week. Kept the same structure; higher reps, double progression, got to earn the weight to increase. Some of the added in exercises are dips, pull ups, and hammer curls. Still working toward a 315 lb bench PR. Nothing new on the supplement or gear. I am still doing 140 mg TRT until blood work in about 4 weeks. Still doing 50mg deca a week for joint relief and when my HGH gets here I am going to get back on 3 iu daily. I have a little bit of tendinitis going in my left elbow area. It felt better while on gh but now today it's starting to bother me a little more. I have some
Bpc-157 and tb500 coming so I will start that as well for 4-8 weeks. When I get blood work back I will adjust as needed to find that sweet spot for me where blood is good and total T is in a good range. Once I find that good range I will recover there for a few months then run another cycle. That is the game plan for now. Here are my work outs this week for my new block of training. Tomorrow is leg b day and then Sunday I rest.
Some good layouts there. Push and pull B workouts definitely too many exercises for me.

Just got all caught up @kcates I love how you're pouring out your thoughts and daily life onto your log. You'll make some good process by keeping on this path even if you're not a 'rule follower' like you say hahaha.

I am starting 1mg of cagrilitide today with 12.5mg of terzepatide for now. I want to see how I do with the cagrilitide before I go to 10mg terzepatide. Also got my HGH back in and going to get back on 4 IU daily see how it goes. I took my first dose last night and I slept so good again. I only woke up one time to pee which is good. Didn't get to bed on time so didn't get a full night's sleep. It was tough getting up at that alarm. I could have probably slept another 2-4 hours. The wife kept me up to late last night. No complaints though.

I use this as a log but also as a journal for myself that way I have something to go back and read later on in life to see the journey I went through and what life was like and my thoughts around everything going on with my training. I hope people enjoy it also. I like the logs that other people share not just there food, supplements and meds and training. I saw one earlier today she was sharing pics and info about her life and farm. That is really cool. I enjoy those kinds of logs where we really get to know more about people.

I plan to stay on the lowest dose as possible. I am not going to crank it like the way things went with my use of terzepatide. I just don't see the point of being up that high of a dose of it doesn't give me any appetite suppression but here is the thing I don't know yet it may be giving me suppression I just don't realize it anymore but it is working. I go off it or reduce I may become the cookie monster. I will try this experiment and see how it goes.
 
My first born son comes home this weekend for 10 days from his MOS school and before he heads off to the fleet to his first duty station with the Marines. He is joining the 1st battalion 10th artillery division at Camp Lejeune. I am excited to see him. We have plans to work out together on the weekend and go play some air soft this weekend. Other then that spend as much time with him as we can. He will go hang with his friends a lot as well while he is home. I will take whatever time I can get with him.

Day 2 of cagrilitide 1mg along with my normal Mounjaro 12.5mg. Yesterday I took the shot. Didn't feel anything different. Today I felt fine until I had to eat. Today is a different morning then usual. I got up at 4 am to go workout. Then had to get home to take my son to school because my wife is traveling to go get my oldest son from His MoS school in Virginia. I left the gym hungry. I knew I wouldn't have time to make my normal meal after working out right away because I had to take my son to school. Soni had a double scoop protein shake. Roughly around 65 grams of protein in it. Once back from taking my son . I made my normal meal to get the rest of my protein. Normally even with a shake I can put down my food. I started eating and after a few bites I was like ugh I don't want this. I kept eating to get in my carbs and protein that I can. So here is some pics of what I started with and what was left. I will save the left overs for later. I got a battery operated shaker cup. So I am going to take a shake with me to work. In case I get hungry and start hurting at work. We will see how it goes through the day. I haven't felt this way about food in over a year and half. I remember this feeling when I first started Mounjaro. I would say the cag is kicking in. I am sitting here now just feeling blah from eating. Just wanted to update some of my experience as I do this experiment. I probably should start a new log for myself to document this. What do y'all think keep it here or start a new log?
