HGH for Stroke patient

Hey guys I wanted to get some opinions if giving some HGH to a stroke patient.

The person has been in the hospital system for about 4 years now and is now assigned to long term care facility aka ( The last stop ) Has lost use of his left arm and can't walk anymore.

Wanted to see if anyone thinks it's worth it to maybe give him some at this point in time. :(

Not a good idea. Strokes and heart disease run in my family. Gh will raise your blood pressure. I would recommend a little bit of testosterone before gh. Testosterone does help with circulation but I would recommend doing some research before having him take test.

Ok thanks for the input m8.

There's a drug that can help ischemic stroke victims significantly, but only if administered within the first few hours after it happens. I don't remember what it's called, and it doesn't matter in this case because it's obviously non-applicable. There are new treatments/therapies for stroke patients almost yearly, some more effective than others. I read about something called anti-Nogo-A therapy awhile back, has something to do with disabling the Nogo protein so new neural pathways can be established to compensate for the damaged caused by the clot. Dunno if it's being used on humans yet or not, but it can't hurt to ask the patient's doctor about it, and research it yourself a little, see what you can find out.

And like pretty much everybody has said, do NOT administer human growth hormones (or any other drug) to anyone other than yourself, and then only after solid research and reasoning. Just pumping a syringe of HGH into a stroke victim and hoping for the best is the epitome of stupidity, and worst case scenario, could amount to 1st degree murder. At the very best, it's reckless endangerment.

this is an absolutely horrible idea bro and im surprised this is even being considered or talked about... DO NOT use this method

Some people I've known for years ran it by me, they had told me it repairs brain tissue. It's one of those things where ya ask yourself is there anything we can do for this person, like a last attempt at giving them back some quality to there life.

Needed some second and third opinions.

Appreciate the feedback Mike, Believe me we were never just gonna pump it into them without doctors approval and thorough research but It's just something that has been on our minds awhile now.

I completely understand reaching for anything you think may help them. But HGH is not a good idea for them at all.

Yes, it could repair brain tissue but all of the other side effects would possibly cause death before you saw the benefits to the brain.

hgh can be helpful with stroke patients and doesnt provide any nill affects.Dont be so quick to jump to conclusion.

here is the study on hgh on stroke patients.15 patients ran the course of it.None had any bad effects from the hgh and they showed more improvement then the controlled group (only rehabilitative therapy).Hgh can be wonderful
