How old were you when you first juiced?

JimmyBro

Proficient Brother
Ive been doing alot of research on starting steroids at a young age. I've been reading about the possibilty of stunting growth by fusing the growth plates. And then the possibilty of getting Gyno and being on trt for the rest of your life.

I know all about AI's and everything to prevent Gyno but even those can't reverse it for some people.

So how old were you when you did your first cycle? Im 22 and thinking about starting one with tbol and test. I'd rather get expert opinions on this before i take the plunge. It's a risk vs reward type thing

I started PH's when I was 21. 25 now and still researching for my first AAS. Probably gonna run just test the first time around to see how my body reacts. If you're gonna continue to cycle there's no need to go big the first time around. Just my opinion

Didn't run my first cycle until I was 36, and I'm almost 40 now.

I waited until I built a very solid base naturally, and had all the kids I wanted to have before cycling

Very smart, and you look incredible for 40 bro

I was 32 when I first took my tbol cycle for six weeks, now I'm running 34.
I do one or two cycles every year just to boost my muscle mass a little at a time. I build my foundation strong, disciplined myself in respect to diet, nutrition, training & cardio and learned that these basic elements did wonders for my body. In my free time I google these forums that adds to my knowledge & motivation.Feels like this forum is like a family that take care of each bros without any personal benefit or selfishness.
Thx for been here guys thx alot :)

Well im not gonna lie I did a test cycle when I was 17 in high school. 10 weeks 1 shot a week, playing football. Id say people defiantly noticed :) but I did a nolva pct and kept most my gains. Then lost it when I wrestling, due to weight class. Now 8 years later gonna start again, but make it a real deal. Been lifting for long time now, and I'm ready.

No you cant stop me but im not some dumb kid.i take advice from older people because they most likely know more about things the. I do. So lets just say if you were in my shoes at 22 and knew how to do a proper cycle would you wait or do it now?

22. Should have waited I guess but I don't regret my decision atm.
1st cycle was 500mg sus pw. Should have used more ai as I had a lot of water weight.

Making sure I recover between every cycle.

There are way more experienced bros on here than me. My .02, and I'm not trying to sound like a prick, is that if you're asking, you may not be ready. You've still got a few years to really cash in on your body's natural production.

So it looks like i better hold off another 5 to 10 years eh bro's?

many reasons to wait..

1. financial, running steroids are expensive.. paying off debts, buying car, house, etc is more important
2. relationships affects.. a 20 year old chick is going to be way less accepting of your lifestyle than a 30 year old
3. stability... being able to focus on the lifestyle otherwise steroids are being wasted anyway
4. hpta damage.. rarely do guys take enough time between cycles to fully recover, I promise you won't either
5. sooner you start, sooner you go HRT... see #4. you will likely abuse steroids where you may have to go HRT very early in life FOREVER!!
6. life volatility. shit happens, you are going to go through a lot of ups and downs.. fired from job, gf/wife leave you or cheat on you, death in family, car accident, injuries. there will come a day where you have to stop going to gym for weeks, months, or even years, if you are stuck on HRT for life and not able to lift you will regret your decision. make sure you are 100% committed first. (I remember there was a guy on EF whose daughter ran away and he couldn't sleep or eat for a week until they found her) think you gonna be able to lift through that? hell no.

Jimmybro if u like to do a cycle anyway then why not u try sarms triple stack for ur first cycle or even lgd. At ur age with right diet & training u can easily add 10-12 lean muscle mass on that stack while keeping ur bf under control plus u'll not be as suppressed as when on steroids.Sarms recovery is easy ofcourse u need to follow a proper pct protocol.
Btw stevesmi has shed some good wisdom words for u if u listen.

I'm now 41 and have yet to wet my whistle so to speak.

I was crushing the gym at that age and growing stronger and getting bigger all unassisted, I wiil say eating good food and plently of it over the years with plenty of rest were key. For my age, in my eyes I'm decent.

But 22, you have some solid progression years still ahead of u.

I agree. SARM's will not effect your HPTA like hormones will.

Wise advise here^^^^

I was 43 when I did my first cycle.

Thanks for all the advice guys and words of wisedome. I'll hold off on my first cycle until im in my late late 20's or possibly 30's. I have done the SARMs triple stack and did a run of LGD and S4 and now doing a run of GW an S4. LGD is by far my favorite so far. I gained 15 pounds on it and plan to run it again for longer. Also will plan on trying dianabulk and that new oxanavar PH i think its called? Thanks again bro's. Believe it or not you guys make alot of our lives easier!

I was 24, but I had been a competitive Power-lifter in the AAU since I was 17............................................JP

22 and I haven't come off. Blast and cruise (more blasting than crusing lately ). I'm 27 now. I was put on trt before I ever had used any gear though.

43 I had researched it before but unlike most guys I was always hesitant figuring I didn't know enough & what if it went iwrong. My natty test tanked after 40 & went on trt so I refreshed my research & did a 500mg test only cycle

27 for me. Researched since early 20s. I am glad I waited. Better base, more mature, have a career now, my own place. All plays into it

First Cycle was when I was 18 in the Army stationed in Germany, I'm 37 now... It was so easy to get and everyone was doing. No PCT or anything... Just Test.... I had no idea what I was doing... I was an idiot... My T level is 190 now.... so I'm on TRT... prob forever. As far as stunting growth I'm 6'1" 244 and 12%bf right now. No Gyno thank god.. that would suck.

Maybe it wasn't the cycle with no pct that got your test low. I had a vasectomy and never felt right afterward. Had blood work done T level was so low, dr told me I tested in the 70 to 80 year old range. I was 31. Just sayin, don't be too hard on yourself. I may not have been anything you could have helped

36 I'm 38 from all the stories glad I waited and built a solid base. I've only done 4 cycles, but have been on HRT at 35.

first two cycles were late 24 and early 25, met my now current ex and had not done a cycle in about six years and here I am again!

very interested in the replies here lots of bros here are smart and waited. gotta be honest started juicing at 17 and have been hooked every since. In my opinion don't start until you are ready to commit for the long haul in my case once I started it was hard to take more than a year off in between cycles.

Lifted for 10 years and started first cycle at 25. Had great results, was up to 235lbs. until I tore tendons in my elbow and couldn't lift anymore without surgery. I got lazy and fat and quit lifting for a couple years. Started back at the gym at 30 and didn't start another cycle until 35. I think the injury was a wake up call and I wish I would have waited until I was 35 to start my first cycle. But hindsight is always 20/20 and I learned from my mistakes. I cut down to 175lbs. and am currently at 205lbs. at 8-9% bf. Slow and steady gains and I'm content with my progress.

I'm 20 and have ran a few cycles. It hasn't stunted my growth. I feel great you have to run your cycles right so you don't end up on test therapy or get crazy side effects like gyno. Be smart about it. I have been and it's paid off.

I never juiced*

"Pay me now or pay me later"~former gyno victim

first shot was when i was 23, had a friend who i thought knew all about it and i trusted him. long story short i only did 4 shots of sustanon(one a week) and he said he couldnt get any more. knew nothing of pct or anything. after that i got online 2 years later and joined a forum. at 28 was the next cycle i ran but i had 4 years of research at that point. im 34 now. when i see young guys talk about it didnt stunt growth or they are careful i shake my head. i was young once and i thought i knew what i was doing too.natural growth potential is what you will miss out on and you can be super careful but who knows how if might effect you when you get 30 or 40. just better to wait imo.

1988, test cyp only. No support, pct.. various others through the years, but the many knee rebuilds had me in and out of fitness.
Now married to the needle. Not so glorious as some of the young folk think.

Late 1980's. Was in my early 20's. Way before the internet forums and good info. Had absolutely no clue what I was doing. Used very little. Wish I had been more informed but somehow I've made it through with no permanent damage, even through the days of being too ignorant to get blood tests.
