hi guys maybe one of u can answer this question for me, is it a good idea to take finasteride and aromasin along with test in order to free up even more test for building purposes ? reason I ask is because I saw a vid with palumbo and he mentions that he uses that combo for better muscle building.

finasteride should used as an anti-hair loss aid bro...not for freeing up test...you got hair loss issues????

be aware that finasteride can cause SEVERE long term damage... it is basically evil in a bottle... i have so many clients suffering from PFS (post finasteride syndrome) and they have completely ruined their lives... some of the damage has shown to be irreversible... they have lawsuits going etc... you may want to consider that

also, as gearhead said, finasteride is for hair loss not freeing up test man... using it for muscle building is so absurd i don't even know where to begin on that... that's so ridiculous...

Yes. But, if using it as a hair loss treatment the effects arnt like u discribe. Taking it at the recommended dose. Its like anything. Guys abuse something and give it a bad name. Don't u agree?

thanks guys for the response, like I said I wanted to find out since that's what I heard but I wasn't to sure. now I know again thanks

no actually i dont brother... ive seen it first hand too many times... its horrible... it works, absolutely... it works better than anything ive seen but what i have seen after use is discontinued is tragic... im serious bro and its MULTIPLE occurrences... i am not exaggerating in any way... i mean, seriously, ruined lives... i learned A LOT after seeing one instance and then more and more continue to pop up... so no, on this one i can't agree because i've seen too much pain and suffering...

Well shit. I am using 1mg finasterides as a trial. Cause its getting a little thin up there. The hair place I went to gave them to me. Been on about a week. What am I looking at as far as problems.

you wanna use fina to fight the hair loss test might cause and for no other reason.Unless there is something i am missing.

I am not aware of that video of polumbo but I am assuming he is talking about SHBG and freeing up free testosterone.

you can achieve that with running a supplement like BRIDGE which contains supps that will bind to SHBG naturally and with no side effects.

I have to agree with Dylan 100% on this. Finasteride is some bad shit, so you want to steer far clear from it

Brother, what would you suggest then to control hair loss in general and specially on gear then if we avoid finax and duta??? Minoxidil, 20% azelic acid, magnesium oil ...???

I can give a first hand account on problems with Finasteride..

I was taking .25mg per day for a year. Yes, you read that correctly, I split the 1mg propecia tabs up into 1/4's after reading studies showing the efficacy was roughly 72% as effective as a full dose, but could help avoid sides.

I had a slight flare up with gyno, which really was only noticeable to me, but there was definitely an increase in glandular size, albeit a small one. Also, my sex drive was crushed. I literally had no urges to chase women, which was a complete 180 from my previous 28 years of existence.

My endo suggested I drop the propecia after a year of use to see how I feel, and low and behold two weeks later I'm horny as hell, and erections are stronger. It's now been roughly 6 weeks off and my hair is no worse for the wear using just minoxidil and ketoconazol shampoo.

Now I can say I have 3 friends who have used propecia with no issues what so ever, and they take the full dose. Everyone is different. I'm one of the people who got a negative response to it, but thankfully nothing permanent.

All that being said, I have 102 1mg propecia tabs straight from the pharmacy if someone wants to take the plunge anyway, lol.

Beta sisterol the active ingredient in saw palmetto has been shown to work in the same way Finasteride (Propecia) works

Aside from all the other reasons isnt polumbo infamous for not using certain things safely?

Finesteride blocks testosterone from converting to dihydrotestoterone so it will stop acne and hair loss , the problem is when you cease use of the drug the natural process of hormones in your body gets screwed up and people have severe side effects that include depression , gyno , low sex drive , no sex drive , erectile dysfunctional and a few others , and the problem is that in the people that this happens to there is a great risk it can't be fully reversed , so to agree with dylan it's scary stuff , because it's like rolling the dice with hormonal problems the rest of your life

Yeah but it really is just a person by person, case by case basis.

As I mentioned I have 3 friends who have been on it for more than 2 years each (one has been on for 7, and another for 5) and all 3 of them are fine. Libido is fine. No adverse sides. Beyond that, my GP and my Endo both informed me they take it without a problem when I questioned them about the side effects.

It can cause problems if you're in the 2-5% that unfortunately experience them (like me), but to be fair, there are millions of people that take it daily with no issues. Of course they don't write about it, only people who experience issues take the time to tell a horror story.

My suggestion for someone intent on taking it would be to start with a lower dose, .25-.5 mg ED and see how it goes for about 6 weeks. I know I was able to notice a difference in myself in under two months, but I said fuck it and kept running it anyway. Now that I've stopped, the issue went away and I have no permanent sides. I also think some users scare themselves and get placebo induced issues, and I've read studies that back this up. If you go ~2 months and don't notice any change in libido, ejaculation, or sensitive nips, you're probably going to be one of the positive users. If not, discontinue and come up with another solution.

Anyway, it certainly isn't for everyone. But people shouldn't make blanket statements like "This will DEFINITELY fuck your hormones and ruin your life forever" because it simply isn't true. In fact, the majority of users do not experience these effects. Everyone just has to determine what works for them. It didn't work for me, but it has been effective for a handful of people I know.
